Absolute 5 star service! Everyone at Godwin Curtis helped us complete both a complicated sale and a fraught purchase, going above and beyond their responsibility to us. We were kept up to date every step of the way. Without their friendly help, we might have given up all thoughts of selling/buying. Highly recommended!

We used Godwin Curtis as the estate agents to sell our house in Canterbury and they were incredibly supportive and friendly, providing a professional service throughout.
We chose to go with Godwin Curtis because we wanted all of the benefits of a local estate agent with experience of the market. We found they were competitively priced, and well worth every penny. Their sales tactics demonstrated in depth knowledge of the current market and clearly demonstrated years of experience in the industry. Throughout our sale they were supportive, easy to contact and the whole team worked incredibly hard to get us a buyer.
As we were also buying a house, we viewed many properties with other estate agents (as well as others on the market with Godwin Curtis) and I can honestly say Godwin Curtis were in a league of their own for viewings. They knew the properties well which wasnt always the case with other estate agents. We often heard the phrase "this isnt my usual house to show so I dont know the answer" when viewing with other agents. This was never the case with Godwin Curtis who were knowledgeable but allowed you space to view. This gave us confidence that they were showing our own house in the best light.
If we had a query or needed to get in touch, even if our key contact was unavailable, everyone else in the team knew our situation and would be available to discuss.
If we do ever move again, I'll happily use Godwin Curtis as our estate agents.

As a fellow letting agent my expectations are probably higher than most when looking to use an agent for my own property. Rachel and David went above and beyond to ensure we secured long term good quality tenants very quickly. David assisted with the agreement whilst Rachel was on holiday, and we were kept informed throughout the process. Our tenants are happy receiving a long term property they can settle into and make a home, and as landlord's we are happy with long term tenants that come with great references.
Special thanks to Rachel, who made the process smooth and simple. These guys are an independent agent operating in a big city that offers a service corporate companies just can't match.

David Godwin is excellent. He is friendly, professional and very approachable. Nothing ever appeared to be too much trouble and he was always very generous with his time.
We have sold two properties through this company and they also managed a rental property for us for several years.
Jason handled our most recent sale with care and professionalism, keeping us updated every step of the way, which was much appreciated during what can be a very stressful time.
Jayne was also always incredibly helpful friendly & efficient.
The Godwin Curtis sales team are all great and always do what they say they are going to do!

We tried to buy a house with their help.What I like it that they really 'catch' you and answer your calls ,emails,try to sort out problems as quick as possible from head manager to sale's assistant.Very easy and comfy communication with Jason and David! Sellers, please think twice before go to big agencies , which don't care about clients much.My husband and me had a great experience dealing with different agencies for 2,5 years.It was a nightmare! I was curious why sellers don't check in advance whom to choose,at least give a call knowing that communication is key! So, I recommend this Agency to my friends and colleagues.

Just a great agency.
I’ve experienced versions agents over the years both as a landlord and as a tenant and I found Godwin and Curtis’ service just sublime! Respectful and, in my case, aware of the tenants needs.
They helped as much as possible with dealing with our arisen situation quickly and efficiently.

We used Godwin Curtis in September 2023 to sell a retirement flat in Canterbury which we had been trying to sell for at least 18mths with other agents. They are very difficult to sell due to a restricted demographic. Fortunately a buyer came along and we completed on 19th December 2023. Jordan Parrock was our contact and she kept in touch regularly, was very tenacious, professional and worked hard for both the seller and buyer to secure an acceptable price. We were extremely pleased with the service received and therefore would highly recommend Godwin Curtis.
