Doug & Molly are not your usual estate agents. Both of them have been totally trustworthy, reliable and supportive throughout the process. We both bought our flat from them and then went on to sell it through them also and if we were ever to buy/ sell in the area again it would absolutely be with them. It was a big move for us and Elle refreshingly called me regularly with updates on my offer and during negotiations we felt looked after and a genuine desire to help wherever possible. We had a terrible experience with a Putney based independent prior to this where the agent purely communicated via email so it was really great to have such a proactive and positive experience. For the past three months, Winkworth Southfield has displayed "Under offer" signs outside my flat and my elderly upstairs neighbour's apartment, despite neither of us having anything to do with them. This has caused significant distress, particularly for my neighbour who rents her flat and is now worried the council is trying to evict her. I have contacted Winkworth Southfield on multiple occasions over the past three months. While they apologise and assure me they will remove the signs, no action has been taken. They seem unsurprised by the mistake, offering no explanation or genuine concern. This situation is unacceptable. The misleading signs are not only inaccurate but also causing emotional distress to my neighbour. I urge Winkworth Southfield to immediately remove the signs and address the concerns of their residents with professionalism and respect.... Read more
