He kept us informed of viewers feedback and how things were progressing after we accepted an offer. He was always on hand to help guide us through the inevitable highs and lows of this type of transaction. I would have no hesitation in recommending him and his firm.

On my most recent sale in Ely Neave Chambers was very responsive on the sales progression side and Chris Hancock on the sales side. I like how I get emailed when viewings are booked and feedback after via their system.

From Grace's first valuation visit to the final conversation on key handover to Helen, every interaction has been the perfect mix of professional and friendly. The plan of how to sell outlined on day 1 was followed and enabled us to have a really slick sales process. I am more than happy to recommend their services. Thanks again to all the Hurfords staff.

21st Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)After my great review last year, I am afraid that this year I have to give a rather disappointing rate. I requested to change of bank account for rent to transfer back in Dec 2020 and my rental agreement renewed in March. I emailed to the branch manager, to ensure its all updated. She said its in the system. When it came to March, the rent went to my old account, so I emailed again, she asked me to resend the form again. She told me it was all in the system. To have a peace of mind, I called the credit control and they told me the bank account hasn't updated. So I called, and she told me I need to add a signature same as the agreement, which I did immediately. I was told the rent would be transferred yesterday or today. I didn't receive any statement or rent. I called the accounts department again to find out she was sending the blank form to them, so they are holding the payment. The accounts department told me they now received the form but it would take a process to get approval from administration and it will be more delay. I am totally shocked as to how come a simple bank account change is so complicated. Considering, I sent this request back in December last year. I feel that they passing the ball around and not sorting things out. I have to made around 8 calls and few emails to try to sort this out. As a landlord, the late rent income meaning I have to pay late charges somewhere. I really am disappointed and stress out to deal with this, which I shouldn't have to spend my time calling around their department to ensure things to sort out. Though I didn't want to make a fuss about it, but I though I needed to share my experience here. (old review in 2019) Very impressed with the great improvement of the letting services. Ann and her team has done a fantastic job to find me new tenants within couple of weeks. Great communication keeping me in the loop all the time. Highly recommended to all landlords looking for good professional and reliable estate agent in the area.
15th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Initially seemed good, however massively overvalued our house, had a farce getting a for sale sign took 6 weeks, photos were poor, description of property was drab and had several spelling mistakes. Communication was pretty much zero unless we contacted them. When we collected the key, one sales girl said to her co worker, they are going to update it then try and sell again. We hadn't said that, which makes it quite a rude thing to say in front of my wife.

They were very thorough and helped us out through out the process. I would personally like to thank Russell and Gary for what felt like a very personal approach to our sale. 30th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Initially they talked the talk and were very helpful but once the property was sold they started pushing for us to move out early (which we refused to do) presumably so they could get their commission. The communication in the period between sale and completion was minimal from their side until Ozzie became the "contact" person and we cannot praise him enough.

The team were always professional, friendly and above all ultra fast to respond, seeing the transaction through to the end. Big shout out to Morgan who went above and beyond in chasing things down. If you want to actually sell your property and convert offers into completions you will struggle to find better.
