She was super helpful when answering all my questions and was really responsive during the application process. She made time for viewings out of hours and made sure she was flexible to work around my work schedule, which isn’t often the case with other agents. 22nd Apr 2024 (17 days ago)We appointed Chestertons after a personal recommendation from friends with whom they sold their property. We had already had a very negative experience with one of Islington's most famous Estate Agents (they know who they are!) and so terminated that contract and went to Scott and his team at Chestertons instead. It was a breath of fresh air with a totally managed service, excellent sales team and regular feedback and communication. It was the opposite approach to the previous agency and one which was successful at selling our house at asking- price. Guy found the perfect Buyer after many client viewings and their persistence and self-assurance maintained our confidence throughout the process (which is stressful enough anyway). Not once did Scott even consider reducing the price of our house as it had been priced properly in the first place, whereas the previous lot simply wanted to keep dropping the valuation until someone offered! We are grateful to Scott, Guy and the other members of the team at Chestertons; they got the job done!

Thank you particularly to Conner, Alex and Wallace in what was a tricky transaction, I couldn't have done it without them and would heartily recommend. I met with 3 agents and Truepenny's were the obvious choice - they were selling my home, not just a house, great communication, great expectation management and understood both mine and my buyers priorities. Had a buyer in 5 days, all vetted and ready to go. A fantastic experience compared with my buying - thank you again all.

2nd Jan 2024 (18 weeks ago)I have now rented a property from Ludlow and I would recommend to work with them , there is no time wasting they only send you properties that are within your budget and criteria , they were great at speaking to the landlords to ensure everything was ready before moving in , everything was done through them including advice on bills , broadband etc. Kern was helping us and anytime we needed to call was always there to Fox any problems that we were facing such a great lad ! ???????? If we move again I’ll definitely be reaching out to Kern again UPDATED REVIEW… thought they were fantastic until trying to leave the property got completely shafted with hidden costs and loopholes in the contract .. will not use again

Two of their employees named abul & yen were very misbehaving. They don't know how to talk to their clients. So all in all, they are no good. Would never deal with them ever again.

They are not the cheapest but the service they provide is of a real premium standard. They are always quick, efficient, and professional in all dealings. They also have good business sense and connections. They generated far more interest on the sale of the property then another agent we had on a multi agent deal. Would recommend.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
