3rd May 2024 (17 days ago)Agent would not arrange even one viewing of a property because we were not SSTC nor cash buyers. They suggested we contact them once our property is sold...sure, we're going to sell our home before we even view a property which we might or might not like! Vendors aren't even being notified about potential buyers. What a joke!

8th May 2024 (12 days ago)Highly recommended A great service. I switched from another estate agent to Bairstow Eves, Acocks Green to sell my house and what a good decision I made. I found the fee competitive after comparison. Morgan, Kelly and Megan were excellent throughout the whole process. From first contact with Kelly to completion I was kept informed by Morgan with weekly updates. The team are very professional, easy to talk to and so polite. Thank you everyone.

17th May 2024 (3 days ago)Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been renting for almost 5 years in the UK and nothing has been this bad. The property was not ready for anyone to live in it - I was without hot hotter for three weeks in winter, there were fleas in the flat, heaters didn’t work. The agency didn’t do anything to help and always took way to long for basic things. Wouldn’t recommend.- 9th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Was in the process of buying a house and ready to give up until i got in touch with the Kings Heath branch. Dan was absolutely amazing and guided us through the whole process from start to finish. Without his knowledge of the area and the market we wouldn’t have found our dream home which we can now call ours! Wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else!!
- 27th Apr 2024 (23 days ago)Not impressed with my experience as a potential seller or purchaser. Would give them a lot less than 1 star if it was possible. We had a valuation over a month ago, agent could not give us a valuation at the time and had to speak to her boss and heard nothing since. Really odd since they had sold another almost identical house 2 roads away away 2 or 3 weeks earlier? When queried during my potential purchase viewing was told they had e-mail issues I can only assume they did not have a phone, clearly they didn't want the business? Thankfully we booked 2 valuations that day and chose the other agent who not only gave us a valuation whilst he was here we were also given more confidence in the service on offer. It was the right decision as we sold in a week, but the one shipways sold took about 3 months or so. I made an offer as a purchaser which was increased as I was told by the agent it would be accepted. Then I was asked to increase further so it would be taken off the market as I wasn't sold but they knew this when the offers were made, and it was even on the offer email. A couple of days later when I was sold and after a week of being given the run around by the agent who would be in meetings, viewings and other calls when I tried to contact her I decided to withdraw my offer as could no longer trust what I was being told. Whilst I understand they have to be led by the vendor honesty and trust should be integral to any negotiation. Not sure how you would know the sellers thoughts and movements if you can't contact them?

10th Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)It has been one and a half years since Centrick took over the management of my property, and it has been a terrible experience living in my flat. They have been unprofessional, entering my flat without permission, and constantly seeking excuses to evict me despite timely rent payments. They issued a Section 21 notice, and now they are increasing the rent significantly, requiring me to undergo referencing again despite three years of continuous renting. They are also altering payment dates arbitrarily as a new agent takes over, causing unnecessary stress. Despite my attempts, senior management has not reached out to address these issues. I cannot recommend Centrick to landlords or tenants based on the distressing experience I've endured.

Everything was handled in a really friendly and professional way and the most important thing for me was that Emma was contactable outside of normal hours. If you look on Rightmove you'll always see that the best photos are Edwards and Gray properties. Definitely recommend

Hannah was great on the first appointment, I loved how they sent letters and a welcome email with a personal touch of a marketing booklet to give you tips etc on what to expect and prepare for on the day of the appointment and photos. Richard has been amazing with conducting the viewing’s he really knows his stuff and gets on great with the buyers. Ellie has been working hard behind the scenes on offers with keeping me in the loop every step of the way. The team are friendly, honest, super knowledgeable and just exactly what we need to help sell our home. After being on with a previous agent that caused us nothing but stress, Oakmans have been a breathe of fresh air! Their marketing is second to none, the photos are fantastic, the photographer/marketing manager Roman was absolutely brilliant on the day of photos. Communication has been spot on from the moment we spoke to them, something that was super important to us. We have been kept in the loop every step of the way and I’ve not had to chase them once wondering what is going on. We could not be happier and would definitely recommend Oakmans to all. We have had 5 star service from day one and I know this will continue throughout our sale journey. We truly wished we used Oakmans in the first instance as it would have saved us a hell of a lot of stress! Thank you so much to the amazing team at the Shirley Branch, you guys are truly fantastic and a credit to the company X
