28th Feb 2024 (11 weeks ago)Terrible service. Failed in the basic- checking source and availability of funds of buyer. Left us out of pocket by many thousands of pounds when at exchange the buyer had no funds. Failed to follow their own complaints procedure by ignoring our emails.

This was in regards to a Zoopla evaluation not made by myself where someone has clearly accidentally used my number instead of their own (I live 3 hours away) After 3 times of politely asking to have my number removed the calls wouldn’t stop. I ended up blocking the main number but the calls keep coming under different numbers also leaving voicemails each time. Surely after asking to have your number removed multiple times it eventually becomes a GDPR violation here?

26th Jul 2022 (1 year ago)Over valued our property at £1,500,000. Then asked us to reduce asking price by £250,000, had people viewing offering £1,000,000 thinking we were desperate to sell because of the large reduction. Sacked them after two months, house never sold.

I was told about reliable,efficient and prompt service delivery agent from the day I got to UK. I walked into the office and Catherine booked me for an appointment and say Lydia will meet me at my viewing.Lydia is the letting negotiator it was a joy when I say to her Lydia I need this NOT WANT but NEED she say okay. Her excellent professional candor is overwhelming. Fox and sons is a place to go and for your letting. Catherine and Lydia is an asset to the team. Thank you very much.
1st May 2024 (17 days ago)We are due to complete on our first ever house purchase this week and fox and sons have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Having viewed and attempted to buy a few times over the last few years, we are well versed in the pushy style of other firms and have been nervous of the buying process falling through as it has done on previous properties. From the get go, fox and sons amesbury have been way above any agents we have viewed with in the past. Courtney was relaxed, friendly and informative, allowing a comfortable and unrushed viewing of the property. We took their advice and chose to use the all in services package with sequence/ fox and sons and this has enabled us to step away from a lot of the chasing and allow the different agents to communicate effectively with each other. My husband's working schedule has meant he was unable to visit the property before putting an offer in. HOWEVER: fox and sons have a fantastic video walk round of the property where you can click through the whole building and outside space from different angles. This is accurate and not exaggerated with fish eye lenses etc. This addition enabled my husband to be able to look around the property and discuss it with me and meant we were able to put an offer in without delay. Without this we would not have been able to offer before someone else did. This tool is incredible and such a plus point. It's also meant I can wistfully 'walk around' the property and plan our layouts before completion. Amy has been incredibly informative and reassuring and speaks to you like you're her only client and nothing is a bother. There were issues further up the chain but she explained and reassured us knowing we were nervous as having been burned before with chains failing. Courtney and Amy are an absolute pleasure and I am so happy that we have been fortunate enought to buy through Fox and Sons amesbury. They will be our go to if we ever decide to sell. Customers for life!

30th Jan 2024 (16 weeks ago)One of the worst experiences I have had. Incompetence doesn’t cover it. As someone who demands reliability and integrity I would not use this company. They are poor at communicating and when direct emails are sent they are ignored. If you are a seller I would choose another company as they will more than likely lose you clients. As a buyer I would go direct to the owner of the property and make an off the cards offer and cut them out.

16th May 2024 (2 days ago)Unfortunately a viewer was booked and although the estate agent waited for them they didn’t arrive for the viewing. I was not informed of this. I called the office 3 days later and I was then informed after a call back that the viewer had not turned up. My partner, child and dog vacated the property for the viewing and it was raining that day. We were not informed when they could return to the flat.
