16th Nov 2018 (5 years ago)lier staff in maintenance team , they never fixed thing shower heating not working since a week keep on telling someone come around nothing happen , give a smelling carpert promise to be clean once moved ask to clean it they say we organized someone to come and clean nothing done basically lier staff be carefull when taking any property for rent form this agent . as something goes wrong they not gona fixed it.

He helped communicate with the buyers on some disagreements and helped us come to conclusions and was always available when we needed him. Absolutely recommend.

I wanted to go higher so they worked with me but ultimately it ended up selling for the value they had estimated. Good communication despite there being a tricky situation sigh my ex.

I've called a few times over the space of a week and promised each time the sales chap will call me back but nothing. Guess my sale goes to the competitors Maxfield (no fuss no quible). Thanks for nothing Dacre's!
8th Jul 2022 (1 year ago)I am delighted with the result achieved by Jag at Your Choice. At his suggestion the house was marketed at about £20k more than was proposed by another agent. Jag said that he had a number of prospective buyers who would be interested in this property. I approved the marketing details on a Thursday afternoon. The advert appeared online on Friday and the following Monday there were 11 viewings with an offer at the asking price received within 48 hours. 4 months from start to completion of which 7 weeks was a delay waiting for probate to be granted.

17th Jan 2023 (1 year ago)Booked an appointment a week before, then called again on the morning to confirm. Then again when outside the property. Spoke to the same call handler 3 times in total and after waiting half an hour was told that the agent didn't see us and left. What a joke. Need to be more honest or sort their communication skills out as seriously lacking.
14th Aug 2023 (9 mo. ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

In particular, they provided invaluable assistance with the selection of tenants, providing sensible and knowledgeable advice in general and on the upcoming regulations as well.
16th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)They sell insurance and collect money. Hard to get any customer support. They stopped taking credit cards- that became my problem. I transferred money from overseas and their bank deducted 10 GBP. They didn't get their money- that's my problem now. I requested a refund on cancelled policy. Only after 2 e-mails and 2 phone calls did I get a response and refund- 45 days later.

2nd Jul 2023 (10 mo. ago)We didn’t sell, we removed our house from the market. Nothing to do with the estate agent, but all to do with the interest rate rises and property price drops. We will put our house back on the market in the autumn

I never imagined an estate agent would be so helpful in every area of selling my house; and my expectations are high. The cost was less than half everyone else quoted me.
30th Dec 2023 (22 weeks ago)Really pleased with Bettermove, they sold my tenanted property to an investor within 10 days of listing it. Everything they promised they delivered on. Great communictaion and nice to speak to someone outside of office hours too. 5 stars!!
13th Feb 2024 (16 weeks ago)Very unprofessional. Simon advertised a company(bar/nightclub) for sale as "confidential" to which i called and book an appointment. Turns out the club they were advertising is NOT the nightclub they told me over the phone. I have spoken to the owners of the club which told me its not for sale......Once i mentioned this i have received no reply. Feels very much like a "bait and switch" which in UK is completely illegal, reported to ASA for false advertising.
