18th Jun 2022 (1 year ago)Wanted to view a few let properties. Was called and was told someone would get back to me after asking if I had pets and they never did. The property was advertised falsely too upon speaking with the agent.
13th May 2024 (20 days ago)Terrible experience with them. I read the review stupidly before i didnt listen so hopefully the next person does. Firstly, contact is poor, very rude administration, i paid 4 months of rent a week early / days early sometimes (i don’t have to) one day i paid rent they accused me of not paying on time as they’d left office early on a Friday and claimed I was a day late and was extremely rude to me, I provided proof and they admitted they were wrong. Secondly the repairs they provide are abysmal. My hob cooker was on max level hest ad the previous tenant had ruined it, they replaced all non-matching odd buttons, looks awful. Didnt even fix it either, wallpaper was cracking due to poor installation and air gaps, and their repair man came out to complete a patch up job of some form of grey adhesive on white wallpaper, and didnt even cover the cracks. Complete disregard to peoples problems and just want money out of you, also the older woman said i could end my tenancy as long as i give notice, now they changed their mind and want me to pay £500 or they wont communicate with the landlord Avoid at all costs.
19th Oct 2023 (7 mo. ago)This the second time I have used Brown and Merry once with the sale of my mothers house and most recently with the sale of my flat. The Wendover branch Claire Raven in particular have been great. They found me a buyer within 2 weeks and helped through a quite lengthy process of issues with the lease. Thank you to the team so glad we got there in the end. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

On the last viewing told us we had secured it in the Saturday only to be told on the Tuesday that there was a higher bid. We have been brought in as a bidding baite in this property. Avoid this agent! No office to even call in

2nd Feb 2023 (1 year ago)One of the most professional and reliable lettings agents I’ve ever rented from! Everyone working on the lettings side have always been friendly and efficient throughout my tenancy. The amount of care that they’ve exhibited as a lettings agent has been truly outstanding and I genuinely appreciate it. Queries/problems (albeit minimal!) have always been dealt with efficiently. If you’re thinking about renting a property with Davies and Partners, don’t think twice, they’ll get snapped up quick. Circumstances have changes for me but if I needed to find a home again, I wouldn’t rent from anybody else!
23rd Feb 2024 (14 weeks ago)Ivor has been a nightmare from the start. I would not advise anyone to use this estate agent. He ignores requests, has next to no customers, constantly pushes very aggressively to get a seller to drop and drop the price so he can earn commission quickly. He is very unprofessional and made many mistakes when listing that I had to inform him of time and again. My advice Avoid!
27th Nov 2023 (6 mo. ago)Interest rates rose shortly after initial valuation so reductions were necessary but disappointing. Advertising on Rightmove, Zoopla etc is standard so nothing special.

Jay quickly and thoroughly grasps the situation and provides clear and concise advice. His desire to assist the client in obtaining their goal is first rate.

Together with his business partner Chris Mobbs they created plenty of viewings culminating in a good sale price. The marketing strategy was above and beyond others and the communication always timely and helpful. Overall we feel that F&C offer a very professional and personal service.

13th Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average

3rd Mar 2020 (4 years ago)I was really pleased with the level of service I received from Chris. We initially had our property on with another agency in Banbury, and we didn't feel as though it was being pushed properly. We would get a different agent at every viewing, so they were never really able to get to know the quirks and selling points our property and the activity level was pretty low. After a few months we switched to F&C. Although it was more expensive, we chose Chris firstly because of his level of understanding of our type of home and the local area. Also, we were impressed with how proactive he was, even before we signed up. Not long into partnering, we were getting viewings left, right and centre. Chris managed to sell our house quickly and we were out of there within three weeks of accepting an offer! Very happy and would recommend!
