Me and my family are planning on relocating to Sussex to be near family and give my kids a better life as we live in London. we found this lovely house got accepted tho great let's get everything moving getting references done so my partner put in his notice at work as his a support work has been for over 8 years and hours are not flexible 14 hours days plus sleep in so he got job thats more flexible so can look for work in the new area. Explained all this even said we would pay a few months in advance then get rejected coz my partner not having a stable job how that make sense.

4th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Richard James and the whole team at Rager & Roberts were always professional and kept me updated throughout the whole sales process. Any estate agent can list your property for sale on Rightmove etc. and attend viewings but it was from the sale negotiation process to completion where Rager & Roberts really excelled.

Although Sarah Hunt from the Cranbrook office was the agent for the house we were buying she went beyond the call of duty to assist us with securing a satisfactory outcome. Sarah worked alongside our agent communicating effectively with all parties. She was always courteous and professional and did all she could to speed up the sale. As a very very inexperienced house mover (twice in 73 years!) they put me at ease, explained all of the extensive paperwork involved in renting in detail and eased the process. They accomodated my availability for viewing time and kept me informed of progress as it moved through landlord acceptance and completion. There was even a welcome box with some very handy discounts (which I have used). Your Move Polegate made the whole process of moving as stress-free as it could possibly be. Thank you.

Anne worked tirelessly on it, she would not give in and ended up being the one co ordinating all the clients, estate agents and solicitors all along the chain.I believe our move would not have happened if we had not had Anne championing our cause. The whole team were friendly and professional and kept us updated at all times. I would wholeheartedly thoroughly recommend using Angela Marden Estate Agents. 6th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)Keen enthusiastic and friendly staff badly let down by corporate rules and an inflexible IT/software setup which did not enable them to present the property as we wanted. They did get viewings but not many of them were suited to the property age or needs wise. We also didn't like the hard sell 'upgrade' charges they tried to foist on us at the point of signing up, or the never before heard of extortionate 'uplift' commission for a sale over the asking price which was not pointed out to me, and I got them to cancel. Very corporate and money grubbing. - not the fault of the lovely staff.

7th May 2024 (12 days ago)I think that we have the record for Phil’s lengthiest case! That said, none of this was of Foresters making- rather buyers further down the chain. We had the most patient buyer for our lovely late mother’s bungalow and, after nearly 2 1/2 years , we have finally completed. Phil patiently and calmly guided us through the whole process. His efforts to ‘chase down the line’ were above and beyond. He communicated each step clearly, was a great sounding block, showed empathy and understanding of our situation and is to be applauded for his tenacity. As a family we have used Foresters several times over the years and indeed Mike Fordham was instrumental in selling our family home when Mum decided to finally downsize. It is fitting that Foresters take credit for completing the last sale. Phil was our main point of contact, but everyone in the office knew us, were appraised of our situation and always offered advice, passing on messages which were promptly actioned. They say that undertaking a house sale is one of the most stressful things to face in life and I wouldn’t disagree. As an executor I wanted to represent my siblings to the best of my ability. Phil quietly lead us through the process and eventually we achieved our goal. Thank you Foresters, especially Phil, and we wish our buyer every happiness in their new home.
