Claire and Jessica worked with us closely and they were always, caring, considerate and thorough in all their interactions with us, often just calling to give us an update. We, and my Mum, cannot thank them enough. All the staff we worked with were great and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Their amazing approach contrasted sharply with our buying experience with a different Estate Agent in Ripon. Thank you so much Solo!
4th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)We recently used w h brown Harrogate to sell a relatives property and I have to say that the service was very good in general. We had been on the market with 2 other agents in Harrogate prior to browns dealing with the sale and had not had a great experience with either agent! So I was very specific in the service I wanted when instructing browns…. initially I dealt with the previous manager who was excellent but left the company prior to us agreeing a sale ….the new manager however Claire introduced herself and then handled the property negotiations at offer stage and chased the sale up, we completed approximately 9 weeks after agreeing the sale, she provided an excellent service.I was a manager of an estate agents for 25 years so know what makes a good agent and I can honestly recommend W H Brown Harrogate if you are looking to sell in the Harrogate area. We spoke to Lindsay over the phone and email and she was extremely friendly and helpful, we then attended a viewing with Charlie who again was super helpful. We will definitely be inclined to go through Hunters again in future as their customer service was flawless ????

3rd Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Viewed a property and kept up to date with them had to chase them for an answer. I called back several times talked to people who apparently, didn't have a clue. Got an answer on my 5th call to be told they "unfortunately had accepted another offer. If I'd called sooner I'd of been accepted." ?????????.untrustworthy and a complete waste of time.

Each member of the team went over and above to ensure my purchase was seamless, and kept me informed at every stage. They were professional, courteous and made my first house purchase memorable for all the right reasons. Can't thank them enough!

Emma Mitchell in particular handled our latest tenancy post a long term renter vacating. The process was smooth, communication open and swift renewal achieved. I'd highly recommend them if you're a landlord seeking a stress-less agency/owner relationship.

As a first time buyer he guided me and informed me of each step of the process which was really helpful. Can't thank him enough. Would highly recommend using their service.

8th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Perfect. I live 180 miles away from Ripon and found Paul and the Davis Lund team were not only willing to do everything for me but also to a high standard. They have also forged a seamless relationship with Knight Richardson Solicitors meaning nothing is missed and all is done at an impressive pace. This is the sixth property I've bought and sold but the first with Davis Lund and won't bother calling anyone else, the best thing is both buyer and seller were left informed and happy.

She was completely transparent in the way she operated from the start (a refreshing change from other agents) and offered us solid advice on how to get the sale done. On top of this she was a pleasure to work with and absolutely determined to get the best possible outcome for her client. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Private Realtor.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
