I'm deeply DISAPPOINTED with my experience at this agency and compelled to share my story. Despite my initial optimism, I'm currently facing the possibility of LOSING over £9000, encompassing my deposit and the remaining rental fee, which remains unpaid two months after my tenancy's conclusion. My advice? Think twice before choosing this agency.
Our journey to rent an apartment was fraught with challenges, including daily visits due to constantly rescheduled viewings. Eventually, my friend and I managed to secure a lease for one year, with a six-month break clause, paying the full year's rent upfront.
Upon moving in, we were greeted by an apartment in disarray, complete with remnants from previous tenants and two DIRTY sofas. When we requested a cleanup, the agency insisted that it was our responsibility, as we hadn't specified the need for one in our contract. (Fine, it was my fault to did not list it in the contract.)
The maintenance team proved to be purely for show. Immediate issues, such as non-functional light, closet doors that wouldn't close, were dismissed as my responsibility and persistently IGNORED despite numerous requests for assistance. Attempts to reach out to the maintenance team and my property manager were met with SILENCE, no callbacks, or any form of response.
The agency's lack of communication and accountability has been profoundly frustrating. In dire need of my deposit and rental fee, I've called multiple times only to be met with excuses for my property manager's absence, ranging from lunch breaks to illnesses. It's almost inconceivable.
