25th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)We were persuaded to use an auction method. But there was no communication regarding viewings or once the auction ended. There was little to no vetting of potential buyers. Messages and emails went unanswered. Altogether a poor experience and we went with a different agent who delivered a confirmed sale two weeks later.

27th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Not a great experience with this company. Placed in a property via my local authority. One company fronts for this company. From day one I reported issues to the initial company I was introduced to. I had a random visit from the owner of this company who found it amusing and failed to comprehend exposed scolding hot pipes, over 1.5m drops in the back garden with no rails, loose paving, an un lockable back door, holes in walls and floors plus many more hazards were an serious issue for an ASD child. He dismissed me and instructed me to get a quote to decorate the bathroom while skipping out of the house arrogantly. I have since come to find out he is not just the estate agent but also the owner. After months of failed repairs by unskilled random men I had to get Environmental Health to inspect. In addition to the faults I identified there were multiple hazards identified including Cat 1 health and safety issues. I have even found slugs in the house. After all this still no effort to repair. Have the audacity to call me sis when you met me but have me and my kids living like this? Absolutely disgraceful people. When I am moved the whole street will get a copy of the report so other families you happily take GBP’s for will know exactly what they are dealing with!
5th Apr 2024 (8 weeks ago)Worst estate agents I have dealt with as a tennant. You have to call an infinite amount of times to try and get any issues with the property repaired. In the end, they don't repair anything after they send somebody to see what the issues are. And when you ask when they are planning to actually fix it they tell you if you don't like it you can just move out. Incredibly rude and arrogant behaviour. Also, any communication with them should be made via email so you have proof and can report them to the relevant authorities. Spoke to the people that moved in after me and they had the same issues as me as they didn't bother fixing anything even after getting sick of it and moving out. Avoid them like the plague.
14th May 2024 (18 days ago)Disappointing Experience with Incompetent State Agency While I was able to secure a rental property relatively quickly through this agency, which I will give them credit for, the experience thereafter has been nothing short of disappointing. I have encountered an unprecedented level of unprofessionalism that I have never experienced before from a state agent. The behavior of one particular agent, Shelley, is highly concerning. Not only have I been subjected to unacceptable outbursts and shouting, which has caused significant distress, but it also appears that Shelley is in dire need of customer service training. Her priorities seem to be misplaced, as she is often preoccupied with activities such as selling properties, attending team meetings with her feet on the table, or assisting NASA with their space missions, rather than addressing client queries and concerns. Despite numerous attempts over the course of nearly 15 days, my emails and inquiries have gone unanswered, leaving me feeling neglected and disregarded. It is unfortunate that the only way to capture their attention appears to be through negative reviews and financial consequences. Furthermore, the property I was provided lacks proper maintenance, and the agency has chosen to ignore all requests for addressing these issues, which is a shameful disregard for their responsibilities. Based on this experience and the numerous negative reviews from others, it is evident that this agency falls short of providing satisfactory service and professionalism. I should have heeded the warnings from previous reviews before engaging with them. avoids at all costs!!

21st May 2024 (11 days ago)JAK ALI and his excellent team are quite simply consummate professionals who WILL sell your home – and, most importantly, WILL get you a price that none of the other estate agents in the area can touch. Jak himself is courteous, charming and eloquent in his explanation of how matters should progress, with a wealth of useful contacts who can help with cleaning, etc – and not least a first-rate conveyancing solicitor who can seamlessly move matters at turbo speed, rather than keep you waiting endlessly. In short, Jak is the opposite of the archetypal caricature of an estate agent. He is keen to be proactive and rightly proud of the numerous recent awards that adorn Ali & Co’s welcoming office. Within just over four weeks we had received a confirmed offer and went on to sell the property at a price that was more than £40,000 what the other agents had quoted. Totally impressive, truly superb and utterly professional. Believe me, you really don’t need to look anywhere else. DR NEIL MASUDA
