2nd May 2024 (4 weeks ago)After firstly signing up with another new local agent in my area who was full of promises to market my property with the “wow” factor you soon realise what having a good agent really means and that an agent that lists your property with promises of all bells and whistles doesn’t replace the expertise of a long term agent like Oliver Mintons who knows the market where you live and has an excellent reputation and cares about what they do. Oliver Minton has been outstanding from start to finish. It’s not been a straightforward sale due to other factors in the chain but they have ensured things have gone as smoothly as possible. My biggest regret is not using them from the start! A big shout out to Jon and Sarah who have been fantastic.

1st May 2024 (5 weeks ago)Purchased a property with a vendor I knew but through lanes, it was not the easiest purchase some of which came to the vendor, however Lanes made it SO MUCH easier and helped hugley push the purchase through and always at the other end of the phone for me! Would definitely recommend!
28th Mar 2020 (4 years ago)After struggling to sell my house I stumbled upon Big Black Hen. I decided to call them for an initial chat. I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service
11th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Fantastic experience with Jacqui. If you are looking for a more personal experience then look no further. From valuation to completion Jacqui was all over it! She did a lot of the chasing and calming of sellers and vendors in the chain. She uses a professional photographer which was one of the things I loved, as I've seen some truly awful listings. She managed the open day and offers promptly and got me a buyer who actually saw it through to the end. Always there for a catch up or update. Unlike some of the other chains, she never sold my data to removal companies etc and I always felt she was looking out for my best interests, not just the commission, which by the way was also the lowest quote I got, as some of the others quoted but never mentioned that it excludes VAT. An easy 5 stars and I've recommended to friends and family.

25th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I can't recommend Debbie and Paula at Fine and Country enough. They gave advice that was spot on about the market and worked incredibly hard to ensure the sale. On a personal note they were both supportive and understanding through an extremely difficult divorce sale, whilst remaining professional and neutral. If you're selling or buying a property then ensure you speak to them.

We are abroad at the moment and we left her to sort out a painter and decorator and she also managed to get a replacement carpet fitted at a very very competitive price and in super quick time. We would highly recommend.

She was completely transparent in the way she operated from the start (a refreshing change from other agents) and offered us solid advice on how to get the sale done. On top of this she was a pleasure to work with and absolutely determined to get the best possible outcome for her client. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Private Realtor.

6th May 2024 (27 days ago)Although eventually didn’t buy or rent through Ewe’s, went for a viewing of a property they had managed. Dan Jackson was so helpful and so honest. As first time buyers he also helped us out with questions that had nothing to do with our viewing. Was so refreshing to come across an agent who wasn’t bombarding you with unnecessary information and who generally just wanted to help you out. He also took the time to understand our concerns with the house we viewed and did not rush us around the viewing, which is a what I have found with many agents I have been dealing with. I really have no limit to how much I appreciated dealing with Dan!

5th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.
