In recent times we have had a need to make use of the services on a complicated transaction and were very impressed by the professional way the matter was handled. 20th Apr 2024 (18 days ago)Had a property viewing booked well in advance for today at 2.30 with Hulya Baillie. I was running 5 minutes late and informed the agency. They said it was fine and she will wait. Arrived there and waited 25 minutes, no one showed up. Called the office and they just kept saying to wait and that they couldn't get through to the team who does the viewings. No one ever showed. Wasted my time completely and I travelled half an hour to get here and paid a bus journey. I am a hard working teacher who doesn't get free time easily so this was very frustrating. Will not be dealing with this unprofessional agency again.

Very knowledgeable, trustworthy and always available to answer ridiculous questions, provide advice and generally have a good chat with! And they secured a great offer for my property which was maintained through to completion. Thoroughly accountable, pragmatic, dedicated and full of integrity. Thank you!

19th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)I have been renting a property with this estate agency since September 2023 and have had the worst experience. From the day we moved in we identified several severe maintenance issues with our property which we informed Bessie (our property manager) of immediately. Initially it took us weeks to hear back as I emailed several times and called the office and was told i would be contacted back and never was. This has been on going for almost 7 months now of our 11 month contract. The quality of service is very poor and essentially unacceptable. I had filed a formal complaint which was not escalated and asked to speak to a manager several times and no one has contacted me. No exaggeration this has been the worst customer service experience I have faced.

We originally found our first home through Mathers 5 years ago, and we had no doubt about going back to them. Trafford kept us up to date at all times, and we really appreciate his hard work. If we are looking to sell in the future, we will definitely get back in touch!

Despite Lextons representing the Vendors our interactions with Josh and Tara were always met with professionalism and fairness. They both persevered throughout the process to ensure a positive outcome for their clients and ourselves as the buyers. Throughout the process they were both effective communicators and resilient with challenges which they worked towards overcoming. We would consider using Lextons as our agents should we be looking to sell our current property in the future. Thanks Josh and Tara.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
6th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)I recently moved in to a new property, which I bought through Aspire residential. From start to finish the whole team were professional, informative and extremely helpful. I couldn’t fault them. They were always on hand to answer any questions or update me on the process. Nothing was too much trouble. If at any point I was to consider relocating to another property, I would certainly consider using them to sell my house. So thank you to the whole team for making the process straightforward and easy to manage. I wish you all the best for the new office. I’ve no doubt if you carry on doing what you’re doing, you’ll make a huge success of it. It’s been a pleasure dealing with you.
9th Apr 2024 (29 days ago)Right from asking Mel to sell our property, after another Agent had failed, She dealt with everything in a professional manner and her whole team at the Lancing office were always ready to help with any problems we had. Even taking more pictures to freshen up the advert when requested. The sale went through without a hitch and we are ready to move into our new property shortly. Would reccomend Jacobs Steel for being so professional

As a landlord who always wants to do the right thing by the tenant and property, I would not be without Sean. Communication is prompt, proactive and efficient; he will always pick up the phone and offer as much time and advice as is necessary. A rare aspect in business these days. I would not hesitate to recommend.

They promised you with a lot of things before you move in and once you move in and pay and sign they will never do what they promised. My advice if you want to rent from this Sh&ty agent to record video of the person dealing with you. Rental manger (Andrew)????????
