She is kind, funny, clever, quick witted, assertive, and hugely supportive. We simply could not have got the purchase off the ground without her. If we ever change careers and open an estate agents ourselves we will poach her. She is a fantastic asset to this firm and we would not hesitate to use her again (we are never ever moving again however!!!). Thank you Helen you are just the best!

The communication is excellent, I could always talk to a member of the team and staff are proactive in updating and sharing information. Alex and the team have excellent relationships with other local professionals such a solicitors and mortgage brokers which means that the sale and purchase was able to complete promptly. Staff are friendly and respectful and have exceptional knowledge of the local market. The marketing of our home was of excellent quality and they truly took the time to understand our requirements and budget, finding us a new home that we love!
17th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Terrible customer service, had rats and mice in the house which took them weeks to sort. No credit checks on residents and even had the landlord and his family move in with us for a few weeks while they were renovating the house without any warning. The landlord even verbally attacked me when confronted to which Martin and co did nothing about, instead the evicted me. Terrible experience all round
3rd May 2024 (17 days ago)Andrew and I would like to personally thank Scott and his team, Sam Broadley in particular, for helping to steer us through selling of a property in York. Sam has been absolutely fantastic. The service he has given us has been spot on, reacting with speed to information received and being very clear with the next steps. He has also put our minds to rest at numerous stages throughout the often stressful process which was invaluable. The use of the WhatsApp group has been fast, efficient and perfect for us all to receive information at the same time. Brilliant idea! We did use another York estate agent in the beginning and really should have accepted your advise and guidance from the start. We are so pleased that the sale was actioned by Your Move York. I was really impressed as kelly has continuously updated me and made my moving in smoothly and accomodated my needs in moving in. Even after moving in , they have helped me with any issue that may arise. I recommend their professionalism in handling their client well and making sure that all things are sorted out.

18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen.
