The agent suggested we sign without a viewing and leased us a property directly adjacent to a renovation site. Extremely loud pneumatic drilling ran from 8am-4pm every day. The agent claimed not to have been aware, which is odd because the drilling is clearly audible from their office, just down the street. The agent later said she was aware of it but told us “it isn’t that bad”. Not helped by the paper thin windows. The apartment also had a mildewy smell. Agent avoided speaking to us after we signed the lease.... Read more
