If you are working on auction, be careful if someone work with seller to get your deposit.
I worked with Ahmed Ali, on foxton side, and bidx1, so not cool. I am also using their solicitor, completely in big trouble now which they created.

By far the worst experience with any estate agent I have ever had. When the short term tenancy is over they sent repeated lies about sending the full deposit back. On 3 occasions they said it was sent but they had not sent it. Left a review on trust pilot and they said they would get back to me but they haven't. Emailed and called countless times. Moved out August 18th and still no sign of a deposit return.
If you rent from Foxtons just consider your deposit part of the rent because you will not see it again.
Look into my rental case for SW112LT if you are reading this Foxtons.

Samantha Wilson from the Blackheath branch was super efficient, friendly and professional! She managed to find what I was looking for in a short time (top floor flats, reasonable service charge and long lease) and really went the extra mile with making the most of our time with multiple viewings with a smile:) Even though my circumstances changed and I no longer need to view flats, I highly recommend Samantha as an agent to find your dream property!
