24th Apr 2024 (26 days ago)Would not recommend this. My flatmates and I had the worst experience as (international students) tenants. They wouldn't return our calls and emails even in some emergency cases and rarely solved the tenants' issues. Maintenance was weak as well. It was last year but I'm still having nightmares about it, it cased us so much stress and anxiety. I hope I never have to use their service again.

17th May 2024 (3 days ago)Worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been renting for almost 5 years in the UK and nothing has been this bad. The property was not ready for anyone to live in it - I was without hot hotter for three weeks in winter, there were fleas in the flat, heaters didn’t work. The agency didn’t do anything to help and always took way to long for basic things. Wouldn’t recommend.
17th May 2024 (3 days ago)Awful experience, rented from these guys back in 2017. Flat was awful, assistance was awful and the application process was horrendous. Reviewing only now after seeing my old emails with them whereby they were completely disorganised. They didn't do anything dodgy with my deposit or such but the price and conditions of the property were unjustifiably bad and considering it was my second rental property, it was suspect that they were so suspicious of my background.

I felt well-guided and informed every step of the way. They were efficient, professional, and always available to answer questions. They made the home-buying experience smooth and stress-free going above and beyond to find the perfect home. Their honesty and transparency were refreshing. Communication is key and promptly returned calls, and ensured a seamless process. A pleasure to work with.
10th Jan 2024 (19 weeks ago)It has been one and a half years since Centrick took over the management of my property, and it has been a terrible experience living in my flat. They have been unprofessional, entering my flat without permission, and constantly seeking excuses to evict me despite timely rent payments. They issued a Section 21 notice, and now they are increasing the rent significantly, requiring me to undergo referencing again despite three years of continuous renting. They are also altering payment dates arbitrarily as a new agent takes over, causing unnecessary stress. Despite my attempts, senior management has not reached out to address these issues. I cannot recommend Centrick to landlords or tenants based on the distressing experience I've endured.

7th May 2024 (13 days ago)Unprofessional, scammers, using the benefits system for their own gain. They charge £240 A WEEK for one bedroom in a house that’ll have between 3 & 6 ‘tenants’ . You have no rights, they don’t knock or ask your permission to come in, after getting 240 a week per person they then want money off you on top. They don’t give you a proper tenancy so they can throw you out when they feel like it. Midland housing needs closing down!!

24th Apr 2024 (26 days ago)Horrible experience...their emails are very aggressive (bold and red text), they are not helpful at all and they forget who is the customer always trying to get in dominant positions, asking for things quoting the law without even understanding the law( i.e: querying a transaction between own accounts on £500 quoting money laundry law- threshold being £8k/ 10k eur/ transaction to other people - not to own accounts. Asking for a passport( despite the 2 uploads of copies and referencing agency checks) in the last minute on collection of the keys after contracts signed and all the funds paid...etc. any ID should have been enough. Anyway I couldn't find any professionalism there not even on mr Oakman himself
