27th Feb 2024 (14 weeks ago)All I can say is, if you are thinking of letting a property do not go with Farr and Farr on Oxtalls Way! Communication and customer service is non existent. I have just ended my fully managed agreement after 6 months of problem after problem. There are things that could have been resolved easily but because of the way they handle everything and the delays in responding I found myself getting more and more frustrated with them. I am not sure if they need retraining in customer service skills or better management to make the office more efficient. They are fine with straight forward tasks such as collecting the rent payment, issuing monthly invoices and paying the money but when it comes to answering questions and rectifying issues with the property they ignore emails and have no clue on how best to deal with problems.

Gemma Hutton was outstanding with her relentless chasing of the other agents and solicitors which resulted in us being in before Christmas, a huge thank you from my wife and I.
8th May 2024 (25 days ago)During an encounter with a discourteous woman who demanded information to schedule a level three survey inspection for a new Buyer, despite being informed that the other representative was unavailable, the request to book an appointment and the subsequent interrogation of the surveyor, who had limited information due to being responsible for surveying the property only, was considered unreasonable and nonsensical. As a 12-year veteran of the surveying practice, this was the first instance of such absurd and unbelievable questioning on the phone. To maintain a professional image, it is recommended that the firm either verify the caller's identity with the Buyer if they do not believe the phone call or request confirmation via email from the interested party. If keys need to be collected, ID can be taken on the day (as most agents do request this). Maintaining the highest level of service is paramount, and such unprofessional behaviour will tarnish the firm’s reputation; someone needs retraining in attitude and customer service or try an alternate line of work.

Cathy was wonderful from our very first point of contact and her guidance and support was very much appreciated during a difficult time. Pippa is an asset to the team and has always responded so quickly whenever I needed help. Both have bent over backwards to help ensure my moving process was a smooth as possible and we are both so grateful for their kindness and professionalism. When we came into the office to pick up the keys, all of the team were so lovely and quick to jump up to greet us at the door with smiles. We would recommend you to anyone in the future!
- 2nd Sep 2023 (9 mo. ago)Staff were initially very helpful and knowledgeable but when our property was put up for sale we were very disappointed. Photos, measurements etc were taken but we did not have the opportunity to check the details before they put the house on the market. The photos were poor. We told them if the garden was too untidy we’d sort anything out at the weekend but that request was ignored.We weren’t told we had any viewings. The first time we knew that the house had been marketed was when a friend told us that he had seen it online through zoopla. We were very upset about it. I raised my grievance on the Monday I felt we had to remove it from the market.

Professional and courteous.... highly Recommended.

Ben got it spot on! All the staff were efficient and handled all the viewings and key management professionally.

More recently we have now been involved with sales, with regard to a probate property.
