30th Aug 2022 (1 year ago)Recently purchased a property at auction with Hammer Price Homes. I was a little sceptical first about buying a property via an online auction but was really surprised and happy about how easy it was. I liked the transparency of the auction and felt that it tested what the actual market value of the property was rather than the usual process of placing offers through an estate agent. The additional benefit was that we had time to arrange a mortgage. We had 3 months following the auction to complete and Michael at Hammer Price was great to guide us through the process and answer any questions. We completed 2 weeks ago and have began renovations on our new house last week!

9th May 2024 (24 days ago)We have the lovely Jenna looking after us as we just moved into our beautiful flat. Any issues we’ve had Jenna has got it sorted really quickly with the landlord and she also replies to our emails straight away. I’m really grateful for her.

Chose Franca thinking she would be good during the final (post offer but pre contract exchange) stage in the process, but it's someone else at Philip James that handles that side of things (who also seems good, but worth bearing in mind)!- 25th Mar 2024 (10 weeks ago)Perfect, professional, could not fault them at all! 2nd Aug 2023 (10 mo. ago)Lovely landlord. However have spoken and gas engineer out. Keep telling me the same. The unit flicks on for 5 minutes and then off. It never did in my 3 years at this lovely property that I like to call home. Heating and water still crazy. Gutter at front is leaking. Which o can see is causing brick rot. The gutter is leaking that much onto the paving it’s going up the wall. Will be an expensive job for lanlord. From me asking as it bangs on the front windows. No one can sleep if they come over. I personally think who is this company. They won’t fix the gutters after asking for 10 months. Sad thing is. Green mould is growing up front walls. Hence when I leave. After months of asking. Mould on walls behind radiator and also the gutter will still need seeing to. So ashamed have paid so much to keep a lovely house
27th Dec 2023 (23 weeks ago)They sold my house within 5 weeks and they didn’t value it too high so that it generated lots of interest. They also coordinated the offers to ensure it went to best and finals. The communication was always amazing with feedback after every viewing. Both people that worked on the sale - Kim and Jules - were really lovely and supportive too.

Process was quick and fuss free. At the end of tenancy, we got our deposit back as well. Big thanks to Usman Bhai and the team. Would definitely recommend

I would advise to avoid like the plague.- 20th May 2024 (13 days ago)Engaging Main & Main proved absolutely the right decision for us. We got a tough approach to our sale from Bev and Nicky saw it through to the end with exemplary account management, reducing our stress levels to a minimum. It was a job well done.
24th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)I dealt mostly with Zee and did appreciate the 'balancing act' between myself and the homeowner. Although work did need doing to update the property and I made requests for this, it was ultimately understood that the owner would not commit funds for this. I felt that Zee considered both tenant and owner needs and advocated on my behalf to discuss fair or no rental increases. At the point of the homeowner selling the property, Zee was considerate with regard to mine and my daughter's wellbeing.
18th Mar 2024 (11 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
6th Mar 2024 (13 weeks ago)I recently moved in to a new property, which I bought through Aspire residential. From start to finish the whole team were professional, informative and extremely helpful. I couldn’t fault them. They were always on hand to answer any questions or update me on the process. Nothing was too much trouble. If at any point I was to consider relocating to another property, I would certainly consider using them to sell my house. So thank you to the whole team for making the process straightforward and easy to manage. I wish you all the best for the new office. I’ve no doubt if you carry on doing what you’re doing, you’ll make a huge success of it. It’s been a pleasure dealing with you.
