6th Apr 2024 (8 weeks ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things

26th Sep 2023 (8 mo. ago)I requested a visit for a valuation at Allen & Harris estate agents and had a date booked. I was allocated an estate agent from the start and he made contact with me by email to introduce himself. This gave me reassurance and comfort that I had a direct contact with an estate agent from the beginning and I didn't have to call a shop and wait to be put through to speak to an estate agent. Due to a change of circumstances I had to change date of valuation and contacted Tony my estate agent to see if he could attend my home that same day. To my surprise Tony fitted me in for a valuation the same day! I was delighted with the service. It was unhurried, straight to the point and most importantly I didn't feel under pressure to choose them. The whole visit was finished within 45 mins which suited me as I had other things to do that day. More importantly Allen & Harris had the best rates compared to other estate agents. Since choosing Allen & Harris I have been in contact with my estate agent Tony nearly everyday asking questions and finalising my plans. Tony always returns my emails promptly and nothing is ever a hassle! I wasn't looking forward to having estate agents visit my house and listen to their marketing spiel but Tony was different and made choosing an estate agents easier than expected. I would highly recommend Tony at Allen & Harris, Stirling.

6th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)If it was possible, I'd have given Abbey Forth zero stars. Here's my experience with them: The place I rented from Abbey Forth had not been cleaned when I moved in. It was in a disgusting state with several broken fixtures. I took many photos and informed them that, because I was having to clean my new flat, I wouldn't be paying for the place to be professionally cleaned when I moved out. Throughout my year at the property, they were unprofessional and unhelpful when other problems arose: trying to charge me for boiler repairs (a boiler which was leaking on day 1), failing to resolve a drainage issue outside the kitchen door and, worst of all, falling to resolve an infestation of slugs in the kitchen - an obvious health hazard. When I moved out, they unsurprisingly tried to deduct £190 from my deposit for cleaning. I successfully disputed this charge with the deposit scheme, using the pictures and emails I'd sent them over the length of the tenancy. The deposit scheme found that, as the property was not cleaned to a good condition for the start of the tenancy, that I should only having to pay £60 In summary: Abbey Forth is the worst estate agent I've ever used. Rude staff and a general ethos of trying to squeeze money out of tenants for as little effort as possible. Only sign up with them if you are desperate and have no other options. If this is the case, then please make sure you document everything for inevitable struggle to get your deposit back- 19th May 2024 (14 days ago)We saw 4 agents, 3 recommended by Get Agent. We went with Clyde as they gave us the most confidence, none of which was mis-placed as we sold within one month.
21st Aug 2023 (9 mo. ago)I had an excellent experience with Yvonne at the Property Bureau Stirling - the flat was spotless when I moved in, and any issues I had were dealt with in a prompt, friendly, and helpful fashion. My deposit was also quickly returned to me at the end of the tenancy, without any problems at all. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Yvonne and the Property Bureau to potential future renters.

My tenants are also very happy with the service they get with any problems being sorted out quickly. The staff are always very friendly and helpful any time I ask them for advice.

He is such a nice young man and very conscientious, delivering first class service for both seller and buyer. Very personable and easy to deal with, throughout the whole process of selling Jack applied attention to detail, listened intently, and did a sterling job with the marketing materials. One felt he was on the journey with you and really believed in your home, offering careful advice and assistance in how to make it look at its best. The house sold quickly and easily. Jack is the sort of person one can easily trust to be in the house and to take care of viewings without needing to be there. He really does his homework. Where Paul Rolfe estate agents came into their own was in the negotiations to sell. They have a finely honed gentle approach that works wonders, and makes sure everyone’s needs are met. All of the staff are a pleasure to deal with. Big thanks to them all.
