6th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things

17th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I believe this is a family business so it's with a heavy heart that I leave this negative review but I'm fairly certain even 1 star is too much. I feel like this company can be underhanded with people to benefit themselves and are extremely unprofessional. They do not provide all of the information on the process, they've claimed they don't have information that they do, they lied to get me to put down a deposit, when I queried this each member of staff I spoke to became defensive, aggressive and in one case insulting and another threatening. The staff are unable to answer simple questions about company policy or their obligations as estate agents with all questions having to be put in emails that they don't reply to. They clearly haven't listened to anything I have said as they still believe I am frustrated at being rejected, which I'm not, I'm frustrated at being dragged through a terribly explained process and then being treated poorly when it is questioned. In my experience, this is a place to avoid and certainly does not get my recommendation. Cowboys. UPDATE**You can see their 'customer service' skills in the flesh here in their reply as they have managed to get my name incorrect despite it being directly above where they're typing. They also still haven't replied to questions I posed at the time and have chased since. Avoid at all costs. The one thing they are right about is they did refund my desposit within a day - because I made a lot of noise about their poor practices - so don't accept the 3-5 days (or 5-7 depending on how they're feeling or who you speak to) they tout as being the refund time.- 3rd May 2024 (16 days ago)Had the pleasure of dealing with Jamie when renting a new property. Was very helpful through the whole process and assisted when minor parts of the application required further attention. Would recommend using Countrywide to let or rent a property from to anyone considering without any hesitation.
22nd Apr 2024 (27 days ago)One of the best decisions I've ever made going for Igloo to sell my house. I had heard they were great, and they certainly did not disappoint. They sold my house in 6 days for more than I expected. Stress and worry weren't even a thing when it came to selling my house. The Agent Abby was unbelievably knowledgeable in the processes and she was just so reassuring on questions I had which kept me at total ease. Also any time i phoned and she was busy everyone else in the branch was so nice and helpful. Oh she also was very good at getting back to me. Love that! Big tick! I would highly recommend Igloo Hamitlon. Great experience! If there was a 6th star they would get it!

7th May 2024 (12 days ago)From start to finish the whole team at IVY Property were excellent. They took care of everything, from getting a Home Report to advertising and showing the property. They kept me in the loop and the property was sold quickly and for a good price. Really great service, they obviously care about their clients, whether selling or buying (I bought the property through IVY twelve years before!)
26th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)When Stuart arrived at our property to carry out a valuation we were immediately impressed by evidential sales history he provided. The viewing schedule was a smooth process and after 6 days we accepted an offer on our property. Stuart’s advice was invaluable and I would have no hesitation in recommending Walker Wylie and in fact I have already done so.

27th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)Having worked in Estate Agency for over 20 years, I am an agents worst critic. I was really impressed with Gary he called me at 8.30 in the morning after sending a valuation enquiry through the previous evening. Gary had been out conducted the valuation (I signed up there and then) before the other agents bothered to call. The marketing was superb and the proactive approach from Bohome secured a sale in 4 weeks with two offers to chose from. I cannot praise Gary & Sharon enough, if you want a proactive, hard working and above all caring agent then look no further.

Alex and Lyndsay were professional and efficient from the get go. For anyone who's been through the sale of a property, you'll know how stressful it can be, however, the team provided daily round up calls to keep us informed and we felt in control throughout. Highly recommend and will be using for any future sales! Thanks for everything

17th Feb 2024 (13 weeks ago)I rented my mother's house in Bearsden a few years ago. The Property Bureau are the worst company I have ever dealt with. They did not check the house during the tenancy and when the tenants left the property was left in a disgusting state.
