29th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)I'd happily recommend Sharman Quinney to anyone looking for mortgage advisor. I used them to get a mortgage for purchasing my first house. Phil was extremely helpful and made the experience very easy. I had been left in the dark by another mortgage advisor which made the start of the already daunting experience even worse. Phil set me at ease, he made the effort to keep in contact and guide me through the whole process. He explained everything clearly and offered good advice wherever I was unsure. All while being a genuine and friendly guy who clearly cares about his client’s needs.

9th Jan 2024 (17 weeks ago)After 4 years of residency's at this property, the way you responded to any issues regarding with the property's function, was unbelievable disrespectful, insulted and totally disregarded. It took 2-3 months to fix an issue, which was required 5 minutes work.

From the first time we visited the office to advise of our desire to move from our existing agent, through to them taking over the management of my property, the whole process was painless. Communication was great, we were always kept in the loop during each stage of the transition. Seamless is the only way that the service can be described. I've lived in rented homes for almost 30 years and the landlord/agent is usually hard work. But not this time. A special shout out to Charlotte for her approachability, knowledge and professionalism... and also for really understanding the rental experience from both the landlord and the tenant's points of view. Highly recommend as a trusted agency.

Nothing was ever too much trouble when calling, each of the team being extremely good and conscientious whenever we called and all matters were dealt with rapidly and efficiently. Dealing with the team certainly changed my mind on that there is lot more to selling a house than it just appearing on "Right Move". Thanks to you all and I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone wanting sell or purchase a home through you. 5 Stars all the way.
30th Apr 2024 (8 days ago)Initially they talked the talk and were very helpful but once the property was sold they started pushing for us to move out early (which we refused to do) presumably so they could get their commission. The communication in the period between sale and completion was minimal from their side until Ozzie became the "contact" person and we cannot praise him enough.
18th Mar 2024 (7 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
3rd Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Strutt and Parker went above and beyond in selling my grandmas house: from excellent communication, fantastic service and unbelievable all round help in matters- even stopping by and going out of their way to assist in providing jump leads for my stranded Uncle with his battery flat car. Frankly, if you want top notch professional help that makes a difference, I would advise using Strutt and Parker. They really do an outstanding job.
8th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)From the intial call, Newton Fallowell were able to come back on a rental property we were interested in, and arrange a viewing of the rental property at short notice. Glenn called us and then met us at the property, he was exceedingly helpful ,explaining all aspects of rental, and the process clearly.

When a Grade II listed property is involved, there are likely to be wrinkles. Still, Jan, in particular, was a highly responsive conduit between the seller and us, ensuring matters were attended to correctly and timely. The sale and contracts are now exchanged, with both parties happy - the exact definition of a good negotiation outcome.
