14th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)A mixture of feelings about this place, which have been resolved as they have a very good manager working there. They are just slow to assist when needed and don't always give you the correct information. They did however help us find a place to rent. They are better in oerson than over the phone.

20th Dec 2023 (22 weeks ago)We purchased a house through Beals Estate agents, our journey started early November. We met Emily at the property, she was professional and offered really great tips, on the potential of the property etc. She was straight to the point on what the seller wanted, which put us in the best position. She rang the day after the viewing and we put our offer on the property! Emily was our go to, she was thorough and constantly requesting updates from us, the seller and the lawyers. The whole process will be done by early Jan, I want to say Emily being on the ball has really ensured for us to get through the interim period quicker than prev estate agents we have dealt with. Emily has been a pleasure to deal with, always has a smile, friendly and great communication! I couldn’t have had, a more positive experience and she is a credit to Beals. Thank you!

9th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)I wish I had never entertained them at all. I am now left waiting out a 20 week tie in, that I was never told about in the first instance and did not recieve the contract until it was too late to pull out. The house was over valued in the first instance and then spoiled any chance it had on the market. I had a total of 8 viewings across 8 weeks, which in this area is ridiculous, as this is a much sought after street/area. I lost all confidence in this company and am quite frankly disgusted by them. I would warn others to stay well away from them in the future, due to incompetence, dishonesty and lack of integrity
20th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)Thank you to the team at Marina & Hampshire Life Homes, especially Lisa and Maria, for assisting my wife and I to find a new home in Port Solent. Lisa took the time 12 months ago to show us property styles and then 6 months ago we identified the one we wanted (style, location & outlook). Maria supported us and both the vendor and our solicitors throughout the process, as we learnt the purchasing of both a house and a remote mooring is slightly more complex than a regular house or apartment. Angela's and Rob's knowledge of the Port Solent and living in the marina development to be invaluable.

1st May 2024 (19 days ago)What can i say. Not having sold a property for some years now i felt a little overwhelmed. Jamie from MANN Portsmouth arrived at our door to provide a valuation on our property. The moment he entered our house he made my wife and I feel very relaxed about the whole process. His knowledge about the properties in the area and what we could obtain for ours made us feel at ease straight away and he provided a valuation that we were extremely satisfied with. But it didn't stop there. Jamie continued to provide all of the information we needed and within two weeks our property was sold. I cannot rate Jamie and the team highly enough. I must also mention Anna at MANN Waterlooville who has also been extremely helpfull in our search for a new property. All of the sales team at MANN have been extremely kind and courteous to my wife and I throughout this process. Thank for a great job well done.

20th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)If you can help it, don't use this agency. The first week I moved in, the fridge broke and all my food went bad - when I reported this and a shower problem to one of the staff, I was told in a rude tone that "I shouldn't complain since these things happen" despite the fact that they had time to fix these issues before I moved in as no one had been living there for some time. I rented a property through them for 3 years, and throughout that time the building had leak issues, including damp, mould and others. At one point it was essentially niagra falls coming through a leak in the front room which damaged a part of the room. Throughout a year and a half, I consistently emailed/contacted about this problem. It took me threatening to not pay rent before something was done, otherwise I was essentially left to deal with it which was particularly hard through winter. There was maybe one member of staff who was genuinely helpful, but trying to get consistent contact was difficult. The other staff didn't always respond, or else ignored messages I sent. Despite being a consistent paying tenant, I was eventually kicked out as a new landlord had bought the property and clearly wanted to rent out the flats for a much higher rate, which I don't think would be worth it considering the level of damage the building has. Unprofessional, at times rude, unhelpful and don't care about your wellbeing so long as they get paid.

They are readily available throughout the process, helpful, good communication and very organised but also provide a personal service. They made the whole process as simple and seamless as it could be.

We couldn't be more pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. 18th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)My wife and I are absolutely delighted that Ceri Evans has been managing our house in Winchester for so long. Ceri is excellent with tenants, and very proactive, which minimises our involvement, although anything major is always discussed with us. if there are any questions to which we need answers, Ceri has virtually always replied the same day, and sometimes within seconds or minutes of being asked! A real treasure! Tony and Sue Rogers.
6th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Do not rent any property associated with Nexa especially if you are young!! We have had endless issues since renting through Nexa properties which they are still yet to acknowledge/resolve. These issues include damp within the property (black mould and mushrooms growing), leaking boiler, no hot water for days at a time, lack of security (windows that do not close), we were also without a shower for 3 months. If you are a young person they do not attempt to fix or resolve any issues you have until you threaten the council or not paying rent!
