We appointed Chestertons after a personal recommendation from friends with whom they sold their property. We had already had a very negative experience with one of Islington's most famous Estate Agents (they know who they are!) and so terminated that contract and went to Scott and his team at Chestertons instead. It was a breath of fresh air with a totally managed service, excellent sales team and regular feedback and communication. It was the opposite approach to the previous agency and one which was successful at selling our house at asking- price. Guy found the perfect Buyer after many client viewings and their persistence and self-assurance maintained our confidence throughout the process (which is stressful enough anyway). Not once did Scott even consider reducing the price of our house as it had been priced properly in the first place, whereas the previous lot simply wanted to keep dropping the valuation until someone offered! We are grateful to Scott, Guy and the other members of the team at Chestertons; they got the job done!

Me and my girlfriend were looking for a new apartment in the area and must’ve called hundreds of places to register our interest. Bradley Jenkins was the first person to call us back and his attentiveness to our precise needs is I think something all agents should model! We were quickly introduced to something perfect for us and I’ll definitely be seeking out Bradley again the next time we decide to move!

Agent Bradley Jenkins in the Islington lettings office hangs up in a sulk when required to give information on a flat. Unprofessional and needlessly argumentative tone. Gives company a bad name. Will never rent through Chestertons due to this.

Chestertons were superb and facilitated a quick and trouble free move. I have to say a huge thank you to Victoria who was everything you could possibly look for in an agent. Constantly in contact, helping to push the transaction through, providing planning drawings for other approved builds in the street (very important for me) and all with a smile and professionalism you’d expect from someone marketing a trophy property in central London. Exceptional!

I was incredibly disappointed = incredibly poor (and at times, it seemed, intentionally misleading) communication.
Also, once the offer was accepted, they did a terrible job of following the process and making sure the buyer was on track, which caused significant delays and me almost losing my onwards sale.
Oftentimes rude as well.

The sale was quite quick and the agent does try to get to your asking price, it’s just how they handle the after selling process is not as professional. They should have an admin person responsible for after sale process if the sales advisor is more keen on securing other sales
