The most important value about them is that they really understood our needs and worked towards them accordingly. Their constant search for the right property, commitment and communication helped us to find our first home as a young family. We would definitely recommend working with Salomon, that’s what we would do if we wish to purchase a property in the future. TM

Particular thanks to Callum, James and Mel for their many kindnesses and excellent communication along the way. We're not planning to move again soon (maybe ever) but would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area. Thank you all so much!

When the first house we contacted her about wasn’t quite the right fit she came straight back with another suggestion that was better than we’d have found alone, then got all the paperwork done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

While timelines were demanding for the sale and onward purchase, Dawn ensured seamless communication and management of the buyer and solicitors to acheieve a smooth sale. Highly recommended.

19th Apr 2024 (4 weeks ago)Just a reminder to everyone about how Orland Reid tried their hardest to screw me a while back (unsuccessfully). They subsequently also tried to report my negative review to Google to have it deleted (also unsuccessfully). I still feel so angry about this and feel it's important to warn others about the conduct of this agency, even after some time has passed - here's my original review: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! These guys tried unsuccessfully to retain my deposit, blame damage on me that was not on any inventory report and charge me for "work" needed to rectify this fictitious damage using their own workmen, whose quotes for work were laughably extortionate (so no tender process/transparency and taking a cut, no doubt). I had to go through 3 months of tenancy deposit scheme adjudication to get my money back. Their staff and, importantly their owner/partner, deliberately misled me repeatedly and withheld information throughout the whole process, making it as difficult and long winded as possible. The intention must have been that I'd just get too frustrated and give up? They were also paid by the landlord to act on their behalf but at the same time claim to be totally impartial (which is impossible).They are solely motivated by money - this scamming must be part of their business plan and I cannot imagine I am the only one who has had to go through this unnecessary, time consuming and upsetting process. If I could give them zero stars I would. if I could take them to court to reclaim money for the amount of my time they wasted, I would. It makes me so angry that "Estate Agents" like this can still exist. There are so many better, more trustworthy and honest agencies out there, there really is no need to put yourself through the nightmare of dealing with Orlando Reid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned!

Although they initially did my valuation i went with Annother estate agent which a friend had recommended which was a bad decision. However James kept in touch,once out of contract I moved over to Oaks. Michael and sol came to view the house and asked questions. Viewings started relatively quickly and frequently. I received an offer not too long after. Michael held my solicitors to task. He frequently emailed them and kept me constantly updated.The whole process moved swiftly without any issues. I would recommend oaks ,it was been a fantastic stress free experience selling my house with them All in the month of my birthday ! Thankyou Michael and the team.

15th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I contracted Davis & Gibbs to deal with the sale of my ex-rental studio flat in Kennington. Callum Brook was professional, realistic and really helpful throughout the process. As I no longer live in the UK, he sent me pictures of the flat, advised on which repairs were worth doing, got the meter readings, checked for mail, gave advice on how to deal with the formalities, etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Very shortly after the flat went back on the market (within about 10 days, I think), Callum got me an offer very close to the asking price which I was happy to accept, and the sale was completed recently. I am delighted with this result, especially at a time when the housing market is so unpredictable. I would not hesitate to use Davis & Gibbs again.

25th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Lived in a flat provided by the agency for almost 2 years. The state of the flat when I moved in wasn’t great and everything broke. Boiler broke several times, once for 3 weeks over the winter and the agency didn’t seem to mind it too much and they “generously” let £50 off my rent. All my heaters broke as well and had to be changed. The agency couldn’t tell me, who my electricity provider was when I was trying to change providers and the actual electricity meter was registered under the wrong address so it was impossible to change it. Before moving out they asked me to provide the flat for a 4 hour hours long viewing sessions, which I agreed to and the girl who was carrying out the viewings locked herself into the bathroom, disturbing my expensive theatre experience. Luckily an emergency locksmith got her out leaving a mess. Whenever anything broke, the handymen would leave a mess and I got to clean. When moving out, the procedure the estate agency has was extremely stressful, they ended up deducting for cleaning after the flat was professionally cleaned. They ended up deducting for minor damages for things that were already used and not in great condition, when I moved in. I would stay away from this company in the future.
