Towards the business end they were very supportive and communicative which really helped us to progress. I viewed a lot of house and I'm glad I could by a Barnard one. They're superior to the other agents we viewed with
14th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Avoid avoid avoid Worse than useless. I Put my house on the market with them They showed it to people that were not looking for that type of property just out for the day. No feed back despite several requests for feedback, failed to utilize key features like the summer house in the garden with electric and insulation they said because its an outbuilding they can't utilize it as a selling point, also not showing up for viewings among lots more other failings. When the contract ended I spoke to Rikesh the agent in charge to confirm the end of contract and relisting elsewhere and was told yes it has ended he will push the button to end the listing and I could do what I like in terms of selling with another estate agents. We relisted elsewhere sold and a year later Connells demanded fees for the sale by way of a debt collection company this went on for approximately a year Connells in house complaints procedure is one sided and a joke it finally concluded with the ombudsmen deciding in my favour also stating Connells actions were inappropriate and I received a small compensation settlement so definitely AVOID THEM

In recent times we have had a need to make use of the services on a complicated transaction and were very impressed by the professional way the matter was handled. 19th May 2022 (1 year ago)We’re first time buyers and John D Wood were selling the home we were buying. We were shown our new home by George who was lovely. Julian in the team managed everything else, and the man is a saint. I was stressed to say the least between work and trying to buy a house in a short timeframe. No matter how testy I got, he was patient, friendly and supportive. I can’t speak highly enough of Julian, and when we eventually sell in the future he’ll be the first person we go to. Not only are its fees competitive and fair, I am also impressed by the professional standards and excellent efficiency of its staff and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this particular firm to potential landlords looking for agents. In particular, I highly commend the services provided by their Mr Rowan Mohan who was outstanding from the very outset. While handling the rental of my London apartment, he was very helpful, committed and resourceful. There was robustness in his advertising outreach and attentiveness in keeping me updated on a regular basis. As a result, he was able to secure a number of viewings and even fast turn-around.

Despite the extensive listings advertised online, when I approached the agent in person, I was informed that no apartments were available. Instead of providing assistance, the agent requested my phone number, promising a call back that never came. Moreover, I felt judged based on my origin, which is highly unprofessional and inappropriate for any business, especially one in the service industry. An agent’s role is to assist potential clients with courtesy and respect, regardless of their background. In conclusion, the lack of professionalism and the judgmental attitude of the agent at Farrel Lewis ,disappointing. It’s crucial for a property agency to offer reliable service and treat all clients equally, and unfortunately, that was not my experience.

1st Mar 2024 (11 weeks ago)We just finished working with Louise Jones and her team (primarily Michelle and Laura) on the sale of our terraced house in Chiswick. We interviewed a lot of local agencies, and we can confidently say that we really made the right decision— they were simply incredible. We were moving abroad on a tight timeline and were by no means the easiest clients; and we had quite a lot of other factors that had to be taken into account. Louise’s valuation of the house was exponentially higher than other firms and because Horton & Garton worked to identify the right kinds of buyers, we had three offers (two well over ask) within three days of being on the market. H&G treat each property as a bespoke sale and it really shows— not to mention the fact that they’re really communicative, friendly and warm people; just an all around pleasure to work with. Louise had previously set the record price for a terraced house on our street last year when she sold our neighbour's house— and now she’s broken her own record!

Panay was great in terms of liaising with all parties involved and handling enquiries in an efficient manner. He represented himself professionally and is a credit to Highcastle Eststes. I am over the moon as my completion date is the 15th March 2024. I can not wait to pick up the keys to my new property and meet the team at the Goodmayes Branch. 25th Apr 2024 (24 days ago)I had a very bad experience with Fixtons Ealing. The property viewings took place in a hurry. Even in the office when I placed my offer, my booked estate agent had to leave for a different meeting. I paid a holding deposit, didn’t receive the answer from the landlord for weeks (although I was told it will happen within one week) and now I am still waiting for my holding deposit to be refunded. The estate agent doesn’t answer and doesn’t care! I am thinking about taking legal advice!!!
