Emma, Kelsey, Annie and Harry advising and updating me every step of the way from re marketing the property, viewings and securing the new tenants Cope & Co have provided me a service that is second to none. I have used them for years and they are always professional and helpful and I have recommended them several times. A thank you to Cole and Josh in the PMD team for arranging quick access so I could sort the boiler too!
12th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I was so pleased with my experience of selling my home through Derbyshire Properties. It was listed very quickly and sold in one week for over the asking price. The agent Georgia was very proactive in engaging with my onward purchase estate agents helping me secure my next home despite 4 other offers on the table. She also kept great communication avenues open despite multiple issues with the complex sale. Georgia definitely kept the whole sale on track and for that I am very grateful !

16th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)Imbeciles that can't even get a floorplan right even after being told numerous times it's wrong , the photos are awful quality could have done better using my mobile phone . Wouldn't recommend- 7th May 2024 (13 days ago)I had been searching for a rental property in the surrounding area for some time. Most of my viewings with other letting agents would be disinterested in showing me around and unable to answer any questions I would have about the property. On Saturday Holly from Burchell Edwards showed me around a property she gave a lovely tour and was very knowledgeable about the property. Holly was very friendly and happy to answer any of my questions. This was the first time in my search that I was treated like a valued customer and I would recommend Burchell Edwards Eastwood to anyone searching in the area.

She was brilliant, we had to jump through quite a few hoops together and she was incredibly helpful with any issues we faced! It was a long process but she was with me through every step!
7th May 2024 (13 days ago)We have just sold our property through Smartmove, and having never sold before we were unsure what to expect. The team helped us every step of the way, even when things got a little complicated and kept us updated throughout the process. When we did finally exchange they were genuinely over the moon for us. Cant recommend them highly enough.

Never had a courtesy call from them asking if we were happy and worst of all at the end they never if asked why we were taking it off the market….! Nothing whatsoever it was almost like it wasn’t on the market at all …

18th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)It was the worst experience I have ever had with this company. I’m shocked!! They told me to send them my lease the landlord is interested in your business. I have provided all the requirements perfectly. Suddenly they called me and told me the landlord has chosen another tenant in private apart from the company and has decided to give it to another tenant. I have paid for expenses in lease preparations everything was perfect! I think it is the agents fault !!! But when a property, unit owner r a shop is given to a company only this company can do the renting or selling process… this is a big lie and it’s really a shame for this company..
17th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)The wrong property was shown on the attached video walk through to the websites showing the property. Some information given me prior to agreeing to go with Bagshaws was not correct. Price guide for similar properties showed several advertisements for our property from 10 years ago. Just received after several weeks confirmation of property details. Changed Office within Bagshaws to early to conclude yet.
9th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Enquired about a house, sent email on Rightmove and Luke asked when we would like to view, we replied an hour later (midday) the same day with no response. Three days later we hadn’t heard a response so chased what was happening, Luke said he had been on annual leave, but we had received no contact nor an email telling us this, which is why he hadn’t replied - and there was no out of office email on. We then asked to view the next week and was told Luke would arrange. Yet again we had heard no update so we chased AGAIN on the Saturday morning (we called this time) and Luke said he would check. We received a email two hours later and Luke said the vendors would prefer Sunday morning (the next day at 9.30am) as they already had a viewing. We couldn’t do Sunday due to a family emergency and explained this, but Luke pushed Sunday saying that he knew ‘the vendors probably wouldn’t wait that long’ because ‘they had already had an offer come in’ so probably wouldn’t want us viewing 2 days later. If Luke had responded to our initial email 8 days prior to all of this, we could have had a viewing on the house and put an offer in. Poor communication, quite rude and a lack of care shown. We saw another house for sale that we thought we might want to see, but saw it was on with Frank Innes and decided not to bother - luckily it was on with another agent so we have viewed through them. Hilariously, this house we wanted to view initially is still on Rightmove and has apparently sold despite this happening nearly 3 weeks ago. We have been told this morning it will ‘probably be off in the next 24 hours’ but it’s not been off the last 2 weeks so god knows what they’re playing at. Will not be using to sell our house and what an unprofessional experience we have had.

Abbie was very professional and friendly , giving us useful advice for our straight forward sale of our home. Honest and realistic valuation led to a sale within a week. Excellent communication throughout the transaction with all the team. Well done Whitegates! We would recommend to anyone thinking of selling.

I would highly recommend them as we have bought and sold a number of houses over the years and this is by far the best experience we have had.
