27th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Couldn't be happier with the excellent and beyond duty attention received from Margot as we presented a specially challenging situation to her. We went to Guildford for only 6 months and needed a short term rental that also could accept our temporary status as 'tourists' - me and my wife are from Brazil and had to come back after this period, so finding a place that could check all our requirements was really difficult. And we had to do that remotely from our country (I've never set foot in England before). But Miss Margot not only was incredibly supportive and friendly, but extremely helpful, negotiating with the landlords and keeping ing us informed in all the process, making us to understand all the local requirements. She even made a live view broadcast to show us the properties that we liked the most. And, I must emphasize that we have tried several other state agencies in the Surrey area but most were totally dismissive when we presented our challenges. We even managed to make friends with another couple that Margot helped in last year, that were in a situation just like ours, thanks to her. Reading other reviews from Foxton's, it seems that most people get a very good service from them, but what we've got from Miss Margot was nothing short of exceptional.

Although I couldn’t conclude my home search through him (because I happened to come across a better house listed by another estate agent at about the same time by chance), I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy professional agent who communicates and follows up well with you before during and after viewing. And one who wouldn’t bother to research and give me a detail technical breakdown of the costs and items of work involved in replacing the carpets by hardwood flooring for the viewed house. Appreciated, and thanks!

Some information given me prior to agreeing to go with Bagshaws was not correct. Price guide for similar properties showed several advertisements for our property from 10 years ago. Just received after several weeks confirmation of property details. Changed Office within Bagshaws to early to conclude yet.
17th Apr 2024 (22 days ago)I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by Ashley Adams estate agents. My experience has been nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to write this review. * Despite numerous attempts to contact Molly, I have received no response. The lack of communication and unresponsiveness have caused unnecessary stress and frustration. * As a customer, I expected timely and professional communication throughout the process, but unfortunately, this has not been the case. * Handling of the sale was done inappropriately, quick to take the deposit but no support afterwards. * Travis didn't stick to his words of 'I'll collate all the information and get back in touch'. * I was informed by Travis that the holding deposit fee would be returned if the deal with the property fell through, which it did for reasons that are legally acceptable. However, it is now approaching almost 3 months, and I have not received the refund. This delay is unacceptable, and I demand immediate action to rectify the situation which I can’t see happening any time soon.

6th May 2024 (3 days ago)Terrible estate agents. Lived in a property rented through them for 2 years. Was absolutely filthy when I moved in, stank of smoke, had not had cleaners in. On viewing there was water damage on the bedroom ceiling, was told there was no leak and previous tenant didn't report anything. As soon as it rained water came through. Was a battle to get it fixed and they only fixed the roof not the hole/caving in internal ceiling. Oven was ancient and didn't work so needed a new one putting in. Bedroom radiator broke and took over 2 months to be fixed, spent winter having a bedroom that was an average of 7 degrees. Windows all loose and wobbled in the wall when closing them, could feel the draft and see the curtains moving but my email about it ignored. Handed notice in, took keys back and heard nothing. Had to ask for deposit back. Had it returned then a week or so later got an email saying they were doing an inspection and to ensure it was clean and tidy, I'd not lived there or had keys for a month and already had my deposit back! It's back on the market now, price increased by £75pcm. From the photos they've put new flooring in which it desperately needed but I can see some plants my movers accidentally left still on the windowsill so again cleaners not been in (we did clean it before leaving at least, except the cupboards we didn't use because the last tenent left them so filthy) Kitchen has had it, was told on viewing the landlord was going to do it after the next tenant, clearly a lie as it's still the same! Honestly if you can afford to use another agent, please do!

3rd May 2024 (6 days ago)We have really enjoyed our buying experience with Watson. Francesca and Alan have taken very good care of us. It's no surprise that they have so many thank you cards displayed in their window! I would highly recommend them as we have bought and sold a number of houses over the years and this is by far the best experience we have had.
