Emma, Kelsey, Annie and Harry advising and updating me every step of the way from re marketing the property, viewings and securing the new tenants Cope & Co have provided me a service that is second to none. I have used them for years and they are always professional and helpful and I have recommended them several times. A thank you to Cole and Josh in the PMD team for arranging quick access so I could sort the boiler too!
12th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I was so pleased with my experience of selling my home through Derbyshire Properties. It was listed very quickly and sold in one week for over the asking price. The agent Georgia was very proactive in engaging with my onward purchase estate agents helping me secure my next home despite 4 other offers on the table. She also kept great communication avenues open despite multiple issues with the complex sale. Georgia definitely kept the whole sale on track and for that I am very grateful !

9th Mar 2023 (1 year ago)Towns & Crawfords were absolutely amazing when it came to buying our first house through them. Even though they weren’t responsible for acting on our behalf, they were always happy to assist us with any queries, were easily contactable, kept us updated without us even asking, and supported us through the stress of it all. They are friendly, professional and put us at ease! We will definitely be using them once we are ready to sell ????

She was brilliant, we had to jump through quite a few hoops together and she was incredibly helpful with any issues we faced! It was a long process but she was with me through every step!
7th May 2024 (12 days ago)We have just sold our property through Smartmove, and having never sold before we were unsure what to expect. The team helped us every step of the way, even when things got a little complicated and kept us updated throughout the process. When we did finally exchange they were genuinely over the moon for us. Cant recommend them highly enough.

18th Apr 2024 (4 weeks ago)It was the worst experience I have ever had with this company. I’m shocked!! They told me to send them my lease the landlord is interested in your business. I have provided all the requirements perfectly. Suddenly they called me and told me the landlord has chosen another tenant in private apart from the company and has decided to give it to another tenant. I have paid for expenses in lease preparations everything was perfect! I think it is the agents fault !!! But when a property, unit owner r a shop is given to a company only this company can do the renting or selling process… this is a big lie and it’s really a shame for this company..
17th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)The wrong property was shown on the attached video walk through to the websites showing the property. Some information given me prior to agreeing to go with Bagshaws was not correct. Price guide for similar properties showed several advertisements for our property from 10 years ago. Just received after several weeks confirmation of property details. Changed Office within Bagshaws to early to conclude yet.
9th Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Enquired about a house, sent email on Rightmove and Luke asked when we would like to view, we replied an hour later (midday) the same day with no response. Three days later we hadn’t heard a response so chased what was happening, Luke said he had been on annual leave, but we had received no contact nor an email telling us this, which is why he hadn’t replied - and there was no out of office email on. We then asked to view the next week and was told Luke would arrange. Yet again we had heard no update so we chased AGAIN on the Saturday morning (we called this time) and Luke said he would check. We received a email two hours later and Luke said the vendors would prefer Sunday morning (the next day at 9.30am) as they already had a viewing. We couldn’t do Sunday due to a family emergency and explained this, but Luke pushed Sunday saying that he knew ‘the vendors probably wouldn’t wait that long’ because ‘they had already had an offer come in’ so probably wouldn’t want us viewing 2 days later. If Luke had responded to our initial email 8 days prior to all of this, we could have had a viewing on the house and put an offer in. Poor communication, quite rude and a lack of care shown. We saw another house for sale that we thought we might want to see, but saw it was on with Frank Innes and decided not to bother - luckily it was on with another agent so we have viewed through them. Hilariously, this house we wanted to view initially is still on Rightmove and has apparently sold despite this happening nearly 3 weeks ago. We have been told this morning it will ‘probably be off in the next 24 hours’ but it’s not been off the last 2 weeks so god knows what they’re playing at. Will not be using to sell our house and what an unprofessional experience we have had.

Thank you.- 19th Apr 2024 (30 days ago)we have completed today thanks to Abbie and her team at Whitegates Heanor. We chose Whitegates after speaking to a few agents. Abbie was very professional and friendly , giving us useful advice for our straight forward sale of our home. Honest and realistic valuation led to a sale within a week. Excellent communication throughout the transaction with all the team. Well done Whitegates! We would recommend to anyone thinking of selling.
12th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)I have recently sold a property through New Oak Estates, and found it to be a very positive experience from the get go. Paul was very pleasant, and realistic about what to market my property at, and discussed the best strategy to sell. The pictures were great and very thorough. Sharon kept me up to date with the process and was always lovely on the phone, and she regularly made contact with both myself and the buyer. I would very much recommend New Oak Estates to those house hunting and selling, and if i move house again I wouldn't hesitate to use their services again

3rd May 2024 (16 days ago)We have really enjoyed our buying experience with Watson. Francesca and Alan have taken very good care of us. It's no surprise that they have so many thank you cards displayed in their window! I would highly recommend them as we have bought and sold a number of houses over the years and this is by far the best experience we have had.
18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
