I am sad to be writing a negative review as the lettings manager we dealt with when we rented the property was professional and very helpful. The property was managed by the landlord after that. However. when it came to the return of the security deposit at the end of the tenancy, we made enquiries when we had heard nothing 7 days after a very prompt agreement with the landlord. We were told that the deposit had been paid out that day. This was a lie. We finally received the deposit after 10 days, which is the maximum amount of time specified in the deposit scheme terms. This was clearly intended to maximise the interest they earned on the deposit. If you want your deposit back “without delay”, as specified in the deposit scheme terms, avoid this estate agent....
