26th Mar 2026 (6 days ago)We had a very positive experience with Brand Vaughan, especially Tom, Kate and Angela, while selling our flat near Preston Park. They were consistently friendly, approachable and easy to deal with—a really human, down-to-earth team, which was refreshing. They did a great job helping to keep our chain moving when delays arose. Although our flat sold for much less than we had hoped, we feel this was more down to current market conditions and it resulted in us being able to negotiate a similar amount off of the purchase price of our new house with their help. Most importantly, we felt in safe hands and that they genuinely wanted the best outcome for us. We would happily recommend them and would definitely use them again! Helen & Liam

I knew selling the family home would be stressful, but Tom was able to minimise all of my problems and worries. Always available to talk, quick to reply to texts and emails, very focussed on my thoughts and wishes. I firmly believe that I would not have been able to complete the sale with any other estate agent, indeed I would not have wanted to do so.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We found them to be professional, approachable, friendly and enthusiastic when helping us with our sale. Communication was excellent and Samim, in particular, kept in contact with us every step of the way and was always positive even when things didn’t go as straightforward as we had hoped. Thank you all so much for all your help. We would definitely use you again. PS Their Worthing branch was also excellent when they managed our rental property before it was sold.
6th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)Daisy, Kelly, Jackie, Kirsten and Bob were all brilliant during the property purchase process and kept nudging it along when things slowed down, remained patient but never lost sight and stayed encouraging when I was losing the will. After the purchase Daisy and Kelly have continued to support with my questions and concerns around those things that you find out only when you get the keys. I've felt supported through the process and after completion. I'm so grateful for the support of such a great team. Highly recommended.
