Your Move is the first agent who gave us immediate response for our property valuation request. The photos and virtual tour were perfectly done and well described as such. The property gone to the market in just two days. Michael was very professional and helpful throughout. The response time was pretty quick and Michael was always easily reachable. 11th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.Your Move - Hobin Roberts - Northampton

All queries answered swiftly and concisely, and generally couldn't be more helpful. :) Great experience all round and fully recommended. Rob.

Upon instruction the process was seem-less with great communication . The photos showed my home looking wonderful and truthful. The appointment booking for viewers was communicated very well with clear feedback. I would highly recommend the lovely team to anyone in the future!

13th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Sold my parents house through Alexander Lawrence, they were recommended by Chat GPT when I asked for a top 3. I chose them due to having sold similar houses close by and gut feeling. Honestly it could not have gone better, I was lucky enough to get multiple offers from the first viewings, Nick did a great job. Sam kept me up to date with the sale progress better than my Solicitor. Using WhatsApp was so convenient for me. All around they are a great team and I highly recommend them. I would use them again without a second thought.

Considering we were with another estate agents before them, we have never known an estate agent to get back to us so quickly. From the start they have kept communication with us, they have dealt with any little issues super quickly. They were polite and understanding. They ensured our move was smooth and easy and communicated effectively throughout. They have checked in with us already too which is lovely. We have a direct person to communicate any issues with, which is so helpful. At previous estate agents, we had to wait on responses and things would get passed to a different person and we wouldn’t know who to ask for. Charlton brown have been so great, thank you for such an easy transition.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The whole process was smooth from start to finish with regular updates, and nothing being too much trouble. Id like to give a special mention to Chelsea and Steph for being so professional and keeping us updated throughout. I would 100% recommend and use again in the future. A big thank-you to all the team.

17th Nov 2025 (19 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.

Jon, Jeremy and especially Omar were all brilliant from start to finish. Their pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes we received, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service — nothing was ever too much trouble. The quality of the photographs was outstanding and really showcased our property at its best. Above all, they’re just genuinely great people — honest, professional, and full of integrity.
