10th Apr 2026 (13 days ago)I just wanted to say a big thank you to Daniel Appleby for all his help with my mortgage process. From the start, he made everything really easy to understand and kept me updated throughout the whole process. What could have been quite stressful actually felt smooth and well organised thanks to him. He managed to secure me a great mortgage rate with the lender and also helped arrange my insurances, making sure everything was in place at the right time. I really appreciated how on top of everything he was and how quickly he responded whenever I had questions. Overall, I honestly feel I was in very good hands the whole way through. I’m really grateful for his support and would happily recommend him to anyone going through the same process. Thanks again, Daniel!

Our sale was delayed numerous times due to buyers solicitor and Andrew offered reassurance, support and advice. Nothing was to much even after many stressed phone calls from myself, extremely grateful and so glad we went with knights to sell our property, we wouldn’t trust anyone else in the future. Thank you

The team at Chancellors Reading were all fantastic too. Will definitely be calling them if I need to move out of Reading in the future.
6th Apr 2026 (17 days ago)Avoid using their dodgy lawyers - estimate was £2.6K and total bill was £3.7K. Plus Prospect get a £500 commission from the ‘conveyancers’ for referring us. Just instruct a local law firm to act for you in a purchase/sale

My property manager Jessica Phillips has consistently provided excellent customer service, always being professional, responsive, and helpful whenever support was needed. In particular, the service during my most recent tenancy renewal was outstanding. The process was handled smoothly and efficiently, with clear communication at every stage, which made everything straightforward and stress free. I really appreciate the professionalism and support shown throughout my time as a tenant and would highly recommend Romans Estate Agents Lower Earley to anyone looking for a reliable and well managed letting service.

Walmsley are very knowledgeable about these types of properties having sold them before and guided me with in-depth knowledge and professional practical advice. Kept me up to date with viewings, with regular feedback. Although the whole process was arduously longer than it needed to be, (the buyers slow Solicitor). Paula was amazing at keeping me informed, either calling me or emailing. She was patient and kind, with added humour which helped keep my spirts up when I was feeling at my most defeated. She is a super star! I would highly recommend Walmsley in Caversham to anyone thinking of selling or buying. The whole team are all nice and polite and responsive.

They were professional, responsive, and handled the entire process—including managing viewings around my tenant—with total care. A huge shout-out to Imani, who was brilliant with the sale and viewings, and to Chanelle, who was a total superstar with the chasing and paperwork. Together, they pushed everything through to reach exchange within just two months. It’s rare to find a team this proactive. They made the whole process of securing my new place smooth, quick and completely stress-free. Communication was clear throughout and they were always helpful and easy to deal with. Moving can be stressful, but they made it feel straightforward from start to finish. Would definitely highly recommend!
12th Nov 2025 (23 weeks ago)Previously left a good review because we managed to find a house and the estate agent Mr Khan specifically requested us to leave a good review for him. Have changed it because as actual tenants of the house, when they were organizing house viewings, the first 2 times they came for house viewings with NO PRIOR warning, which is a breach of contract. They then solved the bug in their system, and proceeded not to come to for the allocated time they emailed us with, which is not a direct breach of contract, but was very unprofessional. These were the 3 times where Mr Khan came in for house viewings technically without prior warning, while the other agencies coming for house viewings were able to inform us appropriately and WITHIN the contract. Mr Khan then proceeded to say that he wanted to stop advertising the house altogether because he knew that we would "kick a fuss". But we feel that the actions we took were professional and necessary where we informed them in person and emphasized the severity accordingly as they were clearly breaching the contract. Overall, great for prospective tenants, but horrible for actual tenants.

27th Feb 2026 (8 weeks ago)Avocado have been a pleasure to deal with throughout. Their marketing was superb and customer service has been exceptional throughout. I have been kept up to date throughout the process and feel confident that they are supporting me as a seller. I was a little concerned at first that their valuation was £25,000 above what another agent had provided, but I needn't have been as they secured an asking price offer a week after it went onto the market!
