21st Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Burgoynes are a fabulous family run business. They are professional and have many many years experience. Most importantly to me, they are also caring. John, Lyn and Jemma were just superb. The sale was a difficult one for many reasons but I knew they always had our best interests at heart and they worked hard at resolving issues that came up with other parties. Highly recommend and I would use them again!

From the outset we had a great deal of confidence in Jenny with her wealth of experience. She gave us excellent advice and was always available to explain the situation and ways forward. Jenny came out to the care home when it was needed which was much appreciated. She was always thoughtful, supportive and kind. David also worked very hard to ensure the sale went through as soon as possible and kept us updated right through until completion. We are grateful to Connells for achieving a great result for us. 3rd Apr 2026 (7 weeks ago)After unsuccessful efforts with another agent, we switched to Bond Oxborough Phillips and met Elliot Jack. Throughout what has become an 15-month relationship, Elliot has been in regular contact, explaining the situation and offering advice. When it became apparent, after 12 months, that the market was stagnating, he selflessly suggested a Modern Auction company and continued to support us and them in what became the final sale of the property on 2nd April 2026. In addition, Elle Walpole, during the time BOP were mrketing the property was an engaged and responsive support to Elliot. My wife and I heartily recommend Elliot and the BOP office in Okehampton.

7th Jan 2026 (20 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

He was proactive and very well prepared. I would highly recommend him.! I would absolutely recommend Moveli, over using one of the big impersonal high street chains
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
12th May 2026 (12 days ago)I recently have rented a flat through Hunters. Dulcie was absolutely amazing! She was so friendly, professional, quick, had great communication and efficient. She really made this process seemingly effortless. I would recommend her and hunters very highly! If there were any “issues” she dealt with them quickly and because of how great she was, I had little to no stress through the process. I want to thank Dulcie and the team so much for what they do. I am so impressed.
