7th Dec 2024 (1 year ago)Mr. Colin McKenzie, the Abbotfox Norwich office Branch manager/partner was most helpful to me. He knew the market well and ,quoted me the correct price for the property so I got offers quickly. It was a vacant property for some time and he connected me with an insurance agent that carried insurance on vacant properties, which on my own, I would have never been able to. He was prompt, and took photos of my place in less than 24 hours to expedite the listing of the property. He was diligent and fast, and arranged for the cleaning crew so the property could be shown asap. Later on, there were some obstacles with the gas meter installation etc, he went above and beyond and researched the different suppliers of the gas meters and installation and arranged for them to do the testing. He spent a lot of time on my little property. . He also had a very agile mind and formulated different scenarios and the pros and cons of each action taken, so that I could come to an easy and logical decision. He was very kind and understood my situation and the urgency of selling the property . Even when the buyer had difficult demands, Colin never gave up encouraging me to soldier on, and now today, the sale was completed and I am very happy and grateful to Colin.

We felt that this personal approach, where genuine care was shown, made what can at times be a tiresome & daunting experience, become one of stability & assurance. 13th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)Booked appointment monday cancelled by them to tuesday and then cancelled again on wednesday again cancelled .had to take 3 days day off for these reasons.non reliable.first of all had to wait long time to get an appointment.
26th May 2026 (18 days ago)Took my lunch break early today and went to a house viewing with my husband and parents, showed up and the house was marked as sold, no one to be seen. Called up the office, who advised they haven’t even got the keys, and can’t do a viewing at all! Dodged a bullet there: if you can’t organise a viewing, you certainly can’t co-ordinate a house sale!

23rd Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)I have used Mills Knight for a number of years and always found that this family run estate and letting agency provide an excellent service. Directors Julie and Neil and their professional staff are available and hands-on, sourcing reliable tenants for my rental properties and managing them, for probate valuation, and more recently helping to guide the sale of my north Norwich rental flat to a satisfactory conclusion in a subdued market. The firm are well-known and respected locally, having operated from their Bank Plain office for 60 years, and I shall certainly continue to entrust them with my property affairs, as they consistently give sound advice on rental levels and realistic sale prices. They always pay attention to the detail. Keep up the good work!

Would recommend.
28th Jan 2026 (19 weeks ago)Not impressed with overall experience/service. They advertised my property for 10 weeks and there has been no contact from them, I did all the chasing. The photographs were amateur, nothing special at all. The description of the property was unimpressive and unenthusiastic. They failed to include facts and had to be prompted to include them. I finally received one viewing from them 9 weeks into contract, not sure how genuine that was. I don’t think they promoted my property to any potential buyer, so have since changed Agents and extremely happy with the professional description and photos. I have high hopes with this new Agent.

When viewing our property, Millie greeted us with professionalism but genuine interest in what we would like from the house. We had communicated throughout the purchase and no matter the question - big or small they were there to help. A big shout out to Clare Clarke for being amazing, always available if we needed her, very polite and helpful - nothing was ever a bother for her! I couldn’t recommend Starking & Watson enough!
