Their staff are personable, professional, and genuinely keen to help. Recently, when my landlord decided to sell their property, the team at Murray & Currie were very supportive and made what could have been a stressful transition much more manageable. I truly appreciate their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and caring letting agency.
6th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)Having sold hundreds of flats over the years professionally and many of our own, I was hesitant to use a new solicitor for marketing our properties. We tested Connor Malcolm with a small sale which went very smoothly, being under offer within 4 days, then another small flat, again, being offer within 3 days this time. The process from marketing, to conyevancing has been first class. The key stand out is communication, from the buyer leads to the legal process, we were kept in the loop at all times and updated. From both a professional and personal perspective I can highly recommend the team at Coonor Malcolm, David, Scott, Lauren, Rachel and Erin have been great, as have the team behind the scenes. Thank you.

15th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)I moved into my Cairn rental property just over 6 months ago and have had quick responses and great service from Cairn when we had any issues with the property. I recently had my first flat inspection with our property manager Amanda Currie. She was very helpful and assured me she would be on hand to help with any problems in the future.
11th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)The process started very poorly. After contacting them in September about purchasing a new build, things were smooth initially and I was told on 24th October that my case would be passed to the conveyancing team and they’d be in touch within 7–14 days. Unfortunately, I didn’t hear anything for over a month. Multiple calls resulted in promises of callbacks that never came, which was very frustrating during such a stressful process. However, once the case was eventually picked up, the service improved significantly. Communication became much clearer and the team were helpful and responsive - Rhona in particular was absolutely fantastic, went a long way to patch up the terrible start, and is the reason I am amending this review.
3rd Nov 2023 (2 years ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

19th Mar 2026 (13 days ago)Would highly recommend Neilsons when selling your property. It has been so smooth sailing and I have been kept updated throughout the whole process. It really felt like a well ouled machine! No questions were too much trouble and everything was explained clearly. Special mention has to go to Kirsten the property sales negotiator that I dealt with. She gave sound advice, explained every step of the process clearly and I genuinely felt that she had my best interests at heart during the very quick process of selling my home. Would definitely use Neilsons again in the future!
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
24th Feb 2026 (5 weeks ago)Aaron supported us with the legal conveyancing of both the sale of our flat and the purchase of our forever home. We really cannot fault the service we received from Aaron and would recommend him to anyone (indeed - we already have). He kept us well informed through the process; we never had to chase him. He also stayed late one evening to assist us with a potentially costly snag during the process, which he resolved speedily and smoothly. We would have no hesitation in working with Aaron again. He’s a brilliant solicitor. Thank you, Aaron for all your help these past few months.
9th Jan 2026 (12 weeks ago)Administration of the property leasing old school, no silly apps and speak to people which is great. However that’s where the good part comes ends. The problem is the inspector and the property manager. Poor landlord is suffering the consequence, a lot of inconsistencies in what they are saying to both parties, as is the poor tenant that relies on them To make matters worse lettings manager ignores complaints rather than properly investigating. Even after council report, no acknowledgment of issues. What can one do?
