When we got everything confirmed, Louise and Nicola were incredibly helpful and made the process so simple. Would definitely recommend!

6th Mar 2026 (26 days ago)Advertised a property on Camden Street and after viewing, we discussed taking it further and this is where it began to go downhill.. Applied undue pressure to pay £276 to move within 2-weeks, yet after making the payment it was complete silence. When reaching out for an update 2-days prior to the move in date, the rep was unhelpful, unprofessional and lambasted over the phone. The entire move has collapsed with a lot of expense gone down the drain, including the £276 which they refuse to refund. Will be looking into escalating with The Property Ombudsman. DISGUSTING!- 21st Mar 2026 (11 days ago)Where to begin, this branch has been nothing short of exceptional when it comes to customer service and I would highly recommend them for their services offered. In particular, I want to commend the Branch Manager Jessica and Mortgage Broker Sukie. They have been so professional and not pushy in the slightest and despite facing delays to my house purchase due to other parties involved such as Solicitors, both have been very reassuring and have helped moved things along so I could get to completion within the required timeframe, putting me at ease during what ended up being an unnecessary stressful time when severe delays were faced. I originally was going to take my mortgage out with my bank but went with Sukie instead as he is excellent in his profession and got me a great rate, I would highly recommend others reading this to do the same, Sukie is honest, trustworthy and going with a broker like him you could get a better competitive rate. I also want to add that all other members of staff in the Branch have been super helpful too when Jessica or Sukie haven’t been around and if Bairstow Eves Head Office are reading this, please reward these staff as they deserve it and are carrying your reputation.

Rude Staff who never take accountability for their wrongdoings. trying to exploit students by giving them the worst properties for high prices and when problems arise they are unresponsive. Never take accountability renting a house with them is my biggest regret and any student thinking of doing same i strongly suggest you dont.

13th Mar 2026 (19 days ago)Very disappointing experience with the management. It took 2.5 months to receive the deposit refund, and throughout that time there was almost no communication. Emails were rarely answered, and we had to call multiple times just to get updates. The refund was processed today after we sent a formal warning. The lack of responsiveness and transparency made the process unnecessarily stressful. I hope they improve their communication and handling of deposits in the future.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a first class broker.
21st Mar 2026 (11 days ago)We have just sold our house with Oakmans and can recommend them entirely. Tom was great to deal with during our initial valuation visit and was the main reason we decided to go with Oakmans in the end. During viewings there was a couple of times where miscommunications meant that we had buyers turning up to our house before the agents got there, or turning up after agents had left, however overall the quality of show around was good. Particular shout out to Paul here who was great. Once we had accepted an offer, Sue was great at ensuring the transaction remained on track, particularly as we got closer to exchange and completion and communication between certain parties was becoming challenging. Overall, great service and marketing and would recommend if you were selling a house.

Their team was unprepared during house viewings, failed to highlight any of the property’s strengths, and gave no feedback at all. Communication was poor and the whole process felt disorganized and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable estate agent.
