We decided to use Ashtons because they did very well selling a house for us 10 years ago. We had a positive experience then and achieved more sales price than other local agents advised.
This time we were looking to let our property and the Ashtons lettings agent Colin Hickey was helpful, easy to talk with and professional from the start. He told us what he thought could be achieved and then went on to deliver. My phone calls have never been ignored, there has never been a problem getting through or expressing our viewpoints. Indeed I cannot fault the service but only commend.
Very glad we made the decision we did. Happily recommend

I have dealt with other estate agents before but this experience with Ashtons has been fantastic and beats the lot. Tom Ebbrell was first class from the beginning of coming out to value the property to the end of the process. He explained everything and was excellent with all the help and guidance that I needed, he was a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommended him enough a great asset to your company . I just had a conversation with Tom Eberell about a property on Ashtons books. He could not have been more helpful. He was friendly, polite and extremely knowledgable. We also talked about the possibility of putting my property on the market with Ashtons and I found him to be open and honest. He was, I thought, very truthful about the market, value of the property and the options for selling. Whilst we have just placed our property on the market with another local agent I will have absolutely no hesitation in coming back to Tom if it doesn’t get sold. He is an excellent ambassador not just for Ashtons but estate agents in general.

We moved to Canada last month and let our property in WGC through Ashtons. Whole team at Ahstons including Chris, Colin and Tiegan are very professional, friendly and sort out things on time. Whole process was smooth and we were kept informed at every stage.
We have encountered no issues at all and they are always approachable keeping in mind of time difference between two countries.
I am glad I have chosen Ashtons for my property.

Terrible communication.
It took the estate agents 3 days to let the vendor know of our offer.
There are multiple people dealing with different projects at the same time with all communication going wrong. All the agents responses differ and are highly incompetent.
I really do not recommend.

It's a shame the negative reviews are never responded to.
Ashtons letting team have been shocking - we're still disputing a matter that could have been dealt with 2 months ago.
As landlords we had strictly asked for no pets in the house and Ashtons confirmed this would be done. Unfortunately this was not adhered to and they are not accepting responsibility for allowing this to happen.
They promised they would take care of the transfer of bills but did nothing.
Please save your money and do not pay a management fee to this company! They have completely missold their service.

Made our time away a real nightmare and are still causing us issues. Promise you the world and give you an inch. Every department loves to deflect but still ask for full payment even though they don't provide a full service. Only getting away with it because they are a big company and they're living off their past reputation. Absolute joke!
