Excellent service in both sales and lettings. Approachable, knowledgable and friendly staff who really go the extra mile for their clients and tenants. I’ve let my home through Ian Perks since 2020, and when our house went up for sale, they helped ensure its sale to another landlord with us in situ. They were reassuring and helpful and helped guide us through the process, keeping me updated every step of the way. During the process of the sale, Ian Perks helped ensure that it caused as little inconvenience and disturbance to us as possible. Would 100% recommend to those looking to rent or buy/sell.

Ian Perks Estate Agent have been dealing with my tenancy for over 6 years. Their standards and ethic are exemplary. They are a small family business and you always know who you speak to and they know you too. The whole team from sale department, to viewing to rental department is friendly and really willing to help/advise sometimes even beyond the “normal classic Estate Agency service”. Highly recommend going with them as tenant and as landlord.

Really positive experience with this estate agent past and present. Originally went through them 10 years ago to set up rental agreement as a tenant and over the years they've handled tenant changes etc well. Recently been switched to them managing our rental rather than the landlord and have been very happy with the experience. Amye has been particularly approachable and helpful with queries and repair requests.

The Worst letting Agency! Rented for 20 years and they never did any repairs even essential repairs despite 15 years of structual disrepair, raining in, to the point of rain water dripping onto beds from ceilings and water running down walls. All windows blown to the point of being unable to see out of them. The downstairs toilet flooded into hall 5 years ago, causing damage to walls, tiling woodwork and black mold. repairs never carried out despite 3 or 4 quotes for the work to be done. Excuse after excuse. "They couldn't get contractors" The same toilet regularly flooded the garage despite years of reporting to them, nothing ever repaired. Ours and Owners property damaged. Blamed us for damage to owners property despite it being flood damage from numerous flooding of toilet into garage.
They refused to replace carpets despite them being threadbare even on stairs on over 30 year old carpets.
Allowed owner to continue paying for service of the alarm system for 13 years even though their contractor had cut the main control unit off the wall to put smart meter in. Again reported annually handed in alarm company letters to Perks, Owners was never informed. Nor were the letters passed on to owners. After leaving the property blamed us for all damage. Refused to pay back our deposit. When meeting to hand keys back Perks then turned up with roof contractor!
Avoid Ian Perks Letting Agency at all cost ! All exterior wood rotted to the point of crumbling off roof, then had the said rotten exterior wood covered with PVC 3 weeks after we moved out. To make it look pretty for owners.
By fluke, met the owner and told them everything. While Perks was there! Owner was grateful for the information told them we had years of emails to prove we reported and the lack of response or repair!
Met a good many of previous Perks tenants all with similar experiences!
Not putting up photos as legal action is believed to being taken.

Looked after 3 flats for me for several years and I couldn't be more pleased with the service they provide. Friendly, efficient staff take all the load when it comes to repairs, inspections and rent negotiations .Can't recommend highly enough

So far, I have had a really good experience with Ian perks they were really quick and responsive preparing everything for me to move in. Amye and Danielle have been great along the way helping with queries or repairs about the house. Amye is always really responsive via email and does her best to help. Really pleased so far :)
