I was very grateful for all the help and support that I received from Rebecca and Kate. When I was advised that my tenancy would be coming to an end after 21 years at the property I was feeling very sad and overwhelmed knowing that I would have to find another place to live. After seeing lots of properties on the market it was clear that this move was going to be a struggle. On top of having to source somewhere new to live my Mother was taken into Hospital for an emergency heart operation so my stress levels were very high. Fortunately for me, Rebecca & Kate were on hand to help navigate me through the world of renting they made sure that I was kept up to date, completed paperwork where necessary and generally supported me through the whole process. I managed to get moved into my new home over the weekend and am now trying to unpack boxes etc but at least we are in and ready to make new memories. Thankyou Oakwood I don’t think I could have done this journey without you.

We have been so impressed with the service we have received from the Oakwood Maidenhead team during our property purchase - with a special mention to Abbi, Kirsty and Clare. Communication has been outstanding, phones are answered promptly and calls are returned quickly. Abbi was so professional, without losing a personal touch, when showing us the property that we went on to have our offer accepted on, showing preparedness and excellent knowledge of the property. Kirsty maintained integrity and showed fairness to both ourselves as buyers, and to her vendor throughout the negotiation process. The portal to upload documents and check up on the sales process is easy to use and informative. Overall very impressed and really looking forward to working with the Oakwood team on our property purchase. Thank you Abbi, Kirsty and Clare!

We viewed 4 properties with Clare Barbe across different areas of Maidenhead. She was extremely knowledgable, well prepared and informed.
Most of all, she took interest in us and really cared about understanding our needs and we never felt like she wanted to sell us anything not appropriate for us.
We've been supported by Abbi Watson as well who has been excellent and helped identify the properties for viewing.
In the end, none of the properties fully meet our needs but we will continue our search with Oakwood - and especially Clare - as our preferred agent.
Oakwood's range of properties seems to be extensive and the administrative side of things has all worked smoothly and effectively for us so far.

We put our house on the market with Oakwood Estates, and were SSTC for over asking price within a week of being on the market, following a really well attended Open House.
Sadly our sale did not end up working out, via forces beyond our control, with there being a chain breakdown in two successive attempts to make our onward purchase.
But despite the challenges afoot, the team at Oakwood Estates (in particular Abbi) have been nothing short of exceptional - showing great patience, responsiveness, empathy and diligence throughout.
When compared against our experiences of other agents in the local area (with whom Abbi herself had to repeatedly 'pop in' to find out updates in our sale - as we were getting nothing back!), they really do come out on top.
I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone looking to sell their home, and we'll be picking back up with Clare, Abbi and the team as soon as we're ready to sell again!

Delighted with the service from Clare, Abbi and team. We instructed them to sell our (slightly unusual) property in summer 2023. Although we didn't quite achieve the price we'd hoped for initially, Oakwood were still able to secure us a sale at a great price (verified by speaking with other agents) in a cooling and challenging market. We did suffer some setbacks along the way, especially when our first chain collapsed through no fault of Oakwood's. What impressed us most was the excellent communication, honesty and dogged persistence. Always quick to reply to emails. Always straight to the point. Brilliant at chasing other agents/solicitors in the chain - and really demonstrated the difference between a great agent like Oakwood versus some of the decidedly below-average chain agents operating locally. They also connected us with an excellent local solicitor - again, this made a huge difference and we can't overstate the importance of having a good agent-solicitor combination in the current market. It was clear that they were acting in our best interests throughout the process to get us the best possible outcome. Yes, of course it benefits them as well but they genuinely earned their fee on this one and we're extremely grateful. Thanks again, Clare and Abbi - we would have given up on the sale if you hadn't guided it to completion so professionally.
