21st Apr 2024 (6 weeks ago)Still haven’t heard from nick or Darlyne regarding my invoice due from the 5th of April. I have been emailing, ringing and no communication and when I do speak to someone it’s always just an excuse or they will say they will sort it today. Then nothing happens. I can’t believe how unprofessional and how hard it is to communicate or pay a simple invoice that was sent weeks ago. They have the deposit from the old tenant who is paying for the clean I carried out for them. I went out my way to help them and this is what I get in return…. I want paying my money I’m owed. You have my number and email address!! Thanks Sophie

Emma, Kelsey, Annie and Harry advising and updating me every step of the way from re marketing the property, viewings and securing the new tenants Cope & Co have provided me a service that is second to none. I have used them for years and they are always professional and helpful and I have recommended them several times. A thank you to Cole and Josh in the PMD team for arranging quick access so I could sort the boiler too!
28th Feb 2024 (14 weeks ago)Valued, marketed and sold a house as a standard construction property. It turns out to be a non-standard construction, that requires a non-standard mortgage and non-standard insurance. I can't re-mortgage or sell the house, let alone for the price I paid. From a first time buyer with money in the bank, to the brink of bankruptcy in less than two years. After following the complaints procedure I was left with 'resolution' that amounts to we didn't know, so we don't care. The devastating financial loss and emotional distress has been handled despicably. No regulation, no liability, no care or concern.

12th Apr 2024 (7 weeks ago)My husband and I have been very impressed by James's diligence, efficiency, hard work and courtesy when selling our home for us. We were very happy that the buyers also then put their trust in James for selling their home, making the process smooth, and seamless with James 'at the helm' . He was then chasing three lots of solicitors , and other parties and certainly kept us up to date and informed with what we needed to know at every stage. (whilst professionally maintaining confidentiality for the other involved parties). James made himself available to answer any emails, texts and phone calls as needed, very quickly. Other Acquire staff were also on hand to help if occasionally needed, and messages between staff were passed on seamlessly. Overall, probably the best experience we have had with different Estate agents , over the years. We hope that the excellent service that we have received is noted by management. Thank you , James. During the viewing he wasn’t pressuring or pushing nothing and was freely answering many questions. 1st Mar 2024 (13 weeks ago)Left feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. Throughout our entire process of having our house on the market for 6 months, me and my wife have been left completely alone in the majority of the process to chase up viewers, answer queries and have been the constant go between to solicitors/house developer. It appears quite clearly there is either a lack of communication between the staff or just simply a complete lack of interest or effort when it comes to helping us sell our home. The only time Ian picked up the phone to contact us throughout the entire process was to rush us into our next home that wasn’t even built yet or force us into rented accommodation, which from our first meeting with him we made clear was a non-negotiable due to understandable work/family arrangements. Whenever someone went on annual leave or was off work, there was no clear handover and our viewings/queries got completely shoved to the bottom of the pile and we AGAIN had to chase things up which often resulted in speaking to a confused member of staff who had no idea what we were talking about. The large majority of our viewings we have had have been people who haven’t had any agreement in principles with their bank and so we have spent all this time and effort making our home look at the best condition possible for a viewing, just for a few days later to have a half-arsed response from YourMove telling us they couldn’t afford it anyway. This is something since going on with another, much better estate agent we have realised should’ve been discussed in the first phone call with a potential viewer. Me and my wife are fully aware of the situation of the market right now and understand the difficulty (more than ever) in selling a home, however I 100% believe this would’ve been achieved with more clear communication and effort made from the estate agents. I am never someone to write negative reviews, however because we have completely wasted 6 months of our time, effort and emotions on doing 99% of the leg work ourselves, I really don’t want anyone else to have to go through what we have.- 30th Apr 2024 (5 weeks ago)The lovely Emily Y has been very patient and friendly. My mum is 91 and she is patient and understanding with her. Willing to explain everything throughly and more than once. Always in good spirits.

They also phone to update you. They do the viewings and then you get feedback. I had the most dealings with Liz and Poppy and they are just professional, fabulous and make you feel like nothing is too much trouble.
