22nd Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)I have been with jewel homes for over ten years they looked after letting my property whilst I was living in Malaysia and keep a close eye on things for me and always kept me up to date with everything going on. my house was continious let the full time I was away, due to the excellant service i had received when it came to selling my house I did not hesitate to use then for and as expected everything went smoothly and they also recommended me to a lawyer which was a bonus as I am still living in Malaysia.

5th May 2024 (18 weeks ago)I have rented a house via Slater Hogg & Howison for close to 6 years now. Over this time there's been certain repairs needing attention ie damp and black mould. I have kept this house in great condition but the issues date back before I moved in. On countless occasions, mainly from 2021-2024 I have been trying to get these fixed with no joy. I've made so many complaints and have complained to the Property Ombudsman. I am heavily pregnant with my first baby due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison have been aware of this since at least the start of the year, I was trying to get them to fix the issues before June when baby is due as stated in emails to them. My husband contacted Slater Hogg to get an update on the repairs on 29th April, they said the landlord 'was trying to get to the root of the problem with the damp and black mould'. I started Maternity leave on 30th April and that same day Sheriffs Officers came to my door to issue an evicition notice under the grounds the landlord 'intends' to sell in July!! No warning inadvance at all and such a brutal way to treat us, we've always paid rent on time, kept house amazing. We can see an email attached to the evicition notice dated 11th April from Shona McCulloch of the Slater Hogg & Howison Dennistoun branch to say she 'would be delighted' to help sell the property when the landlord is ready. My baby is due in June and Slater Hogg & Howison are delighted to make a newborn baby homeless. This is a revenge evicition because I've been asking to get all the repairs done and i have all the years of proof. It's so unbelievably stressful to be going through this. I do not recommend Slater Hogg & Howison because they are extremely cruel.- 15th Jul 2024 (8 weeks ago)Had 3 offers within the 2 weeks. Proper checks not done . Lost one offer , the offer I did except buyer didn’t even have a mortgage in principal! I was told the dad was buying the flat for his daughter. Half the money other half on mortgage! None of this was true

My 1st contact was with Stuart who came to value my property & gave good examples of similar properties currently on the market or recently sold. Very friendly & knowledgeable. Kim & the girls handled the queries, viewings & follow up calls with prospective buyers. My house sold in under a week & I honestly feel the overall team was the reason behind it selling so quickly. They are ALL a credit to the Bishopbriggs branch & would strongly recommend them.

They kept in regular touch with us re the progress of our sale and offers. Overall an amazing home move experience and I would recommend Momo without any reservations. A five star overall experience!

5th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
