22nd Jul 2024 (7 weeks ago)I have been with jewel homes for over ten years they looked after letting my property whilst I was living in Malaysia and keep a close eye on things for me and always kept me up to date with everything going on. my house was continious let the full time I was away, due to the excellant service i had received when it came to selling my house I did not hesitate to use then for and as expected everything went smoothly and they also recommended me to a lawyer which was a bonus as I am still living in Malaysia.

From the advert going online to the completion of the sale, the entire process took just six weeks (with an offer being secured in just a matter of a few days!). I was amazed at how smoothly everything went. Highly impressive service!

Cumbernauld staff brilliant and all costings for their input both clear and reasonable. Everything you need in a one stop branch. I am so glad I chose them and would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone.

3rd Aug 2024 (5 weeks ago)The sale of my property - in an affluent, much-sought-after neighbourhood in Glasgow’s West End - turned out to be far more protracted than it should have been. This was almost entirely a result of the agent’s insistence on focusing on what turned out to be a phantom buyer he had encountered in the street rather than go through the established channels of putting the property on the market with a view to attracting interested - and genuine - bidders. The result was that a property which I had been told would be sold within 10 days of being put up for sale will have stood unoccupied for four-and-a-half months between being vacated by a previous tenant and a new owner (not the bidder initially wooed by the agent) moving in. This long interregnum has cost me as a selling owner thousands of pounds in council tax, additional factor’s cost liabilities, and lawyer’s costs for a deal that was ultimately not concluded. In conclusion, I would say that this is an episode where Clyde Property’s selling agents should urgently review their procedures and resolve to sticking to established rules, specifically avoiding off-the-books deals that involve avoiding putting properties on the market in the established manner. In this case, the attractions to the agent in doing so were obvious; the prospect of earning commission money for doing less work. But the result was a non-sale that ended up wasting time and burdening a client with significant additional costs - and leaving Clyde Property with a dissatisfied customer. All in all, a less than satisfactory outcome.

24th May 2024 (15 weeks ago)Where do I start. We had an absolute nightmare with our mortgage advisor. It turned into a comedy of errors at every single stage. BUT lorna and Connor at countrywide stepped in and went above and beyond to help us. They literally saved the day and resolved all issues that were nothing to do with them. A 10 min meeting with Connor who sat with us and worked out or mortgage issue was all that was needed to resolve what another advisor took almost 2 months to do. They have been very helpful in every way. For a young man, Connor is fantastic at his job and very professional. A true credit to his workplace. Lorna was personally invested in helping us, don't know where we would have been without her help. All of this and they were the estate agents for the seller, they didn't have to do anything for us but they made it there mission to push things forward. Amy was a massive help too, I actually speak here like they are all friends of ours. we've spoken to them so much over the last few weeks it feels like it lol. Far too many people now are out to do what they have to do... not the team at airdrie! They have done everything in there power to assist and now me and my wife have our first home.. Thanks a lot guys. We will definitely be using them for any future remortgages or sales.

5th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)Was so disappointed with the carry out as 1st time and got prices on line which apparently have not been updated ordered veg pakora chicken pakora and poppadoms and spiced onions £18.96 when I queried this she said it was 2 poppadoms and spiced onions it's not the best experience as the prices are very much more expensive 6.99 chicken pakora and 5.99 for veg pakora 2.99 poppadoms and spiced onions. Only exotic thing about this place is the prices. UPDATE After owners reply STILL no update on prices and as previously mentioned the poppadoms and spiced onions come together what they need to mention that a portion is 2 poppadoms broken up as when I ordered 2 poppadoms and spiced onions got the equivalent of 4 poppadoms at 5.98 so this needs to be clearer on the menu also as how many poppadoms do you need for 2 people.

18th Mar 2024 (25 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Craig & Lisa genuinely care about their clients, they are very approachable, highly experienced, honest and offer all round guidance & support during the process, we were kept updated on every detail throughout and they go above and beyond! We have been delighted especially having the stress of selling our home taken away from us by Move On, they provide a professional but also a personal service unlike some of our previous experiences over the years with other agents who when called didn’t know us as clients when our agent was not available and your property is just another one on their list. Thank you so much for the incredible start to finish service ~ We highly recommend Move On, Motherwell.

Our property sold at a closing date one week after going on the market. We were delighted with the price we got for it. I’d happily use Lesley again if we were to move again.

5th Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
17th Aug 2024 (22 days ago)We bought and sold with Nicola Kennedy Residential. Nicola and Riccardo were great when purchasing our new home. We had such a positive experience, we chose them to sell our own home despite being outwith the local area. Communication throughout both the buying and selling process was exceptional. Nicola and Riccardo both seemed very knowledgeable and were friendly throughout.
