27th May 2024 (6 days ago)I cannot recommend James Anderson enough, we initially used them four years ago as very nervous first time buyers and they were brilliant from a buyers perspective totally walking us through the process and helping us to purchase a flat that we have loved. When it came to sell the property we immediately thought to contact Jack to assist with the sale. Within a week we had offers on the flat and sold quickly for a price we were happy with. Jack & Graham managed the whole process and provided us with very regular updates and feedback and were very accessible whenever we needed them. They have also been invaluable with our onward purchase that is out of the area, managing the onward chain and supporting us through the process. James Anderson have sold most of our neighbours properties too and came to us highly recommended- I can now definitely see why.
26th May 2024 (7 days ago)I recently completed the purchase of a property through JDW. Throughout the process Lewis was great to deal with - genuine, helpful and understanding. He organised access to the property for me a few different times, and at different times of the day and was always willing to help answer questions if he could. After what ended up being a very stressful final part of the process to get to completion - he even made himself available for me to collect the keys out of office hours - which I very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend them off the back of my experience. The only issue I had was that there was information provided on the property listing, that was not accurate. We were 2 months into the purchase process when I discovered that the service charge amount provided on the property listing, was not nearly the correct amount - and was in fact actually 3x higher than what had been listed. Which was a bit of a shock. Luckily not a deal breaker for me, but very close to it. Although JDW were just going on the information that was provided to them by the vendor - he had provided an inaccurate figure - it didn't seem like a very good reason that such an important detail was so far off what it should have been. Obviously the vendor should have ensured the details he was providing were accurate, but it seems the only way Sales can be sure of the details is to check them. When I raised the issue with Lewis, he responded appropriately and apologised - explaining that the information provided by the vendor was what was on the listing and I was happy with how he handled it - I understood it wasn't his fault. But I do strongly suggest that the office management put in place a process for verifying the basic information provided by vendors about their leasehold properties before listing them - the length of the lease and the current service charges at a minimum. These are figures every vendor has available to them. They should be required to provide some sort of proof of them. Simply because these particular details have a direct impact on the financial analysis potential buyers do when contemplating the affordability of a property. The property was also listed with an 'allocated parking space' when there wasn't one. Accuracy matters. Property listings should absolutely be accurate. If the difference in service charges had been a deal breaker for me and I'd had to walk away when I discovered the real number - that would have been 2 months of lost time and £'s invested to date - for both the vendor and myself. And although this might not be a 'common' situation that arises - if there was a process in place in the Sales Office to verify the information first with every leasehold, it would never happen. And that's something that is within the control of JDW.

We had Rob Ford as our agent and I have to say that it is honestly one of the best things that happened during the purchase process! From the very first viewing all the way to arranging removals, Rob could not have been more helpful at every stage! He is patient and professional and made the procedure so much smoother when we had questions, worries or were simply clueless. We also met Mike during our second viewing who is just as kind and so we would really recommend Warren Estate Agents - Putney! :)

Not only are they totally useless; they barely respond to you, and only reach out to you when they want to charge you for something (then conveniently disappear when you ask for details), they're also extremely incompetent and can't answer basic questions. I'm honestly not sure what it is they're 'managing' - I really hope enough people complain about them, as they need to be reported and investigated. I don't trust them with anything, let alone my managing my property! BE CAREFUL!!!

Christina Ciriello- 20th May 2024 (13 days ago)I had spoke with one agent (I dont remember his name) from Foxton Wimbledon office and he was very demanding that we compromise our choices in order to find something appropriate by our taste. I was a bit upset as I liked what they offer but he was very pushy we compromise rent or location. Did not want to show us what we asked for. Saying it was not convenient for us.. I hang up. After that I did an enquiry for one of the properties I liked and Martin ( Foxton Wimbledon office) was the one that follow up. He had very professional approach. Listen to our demands and manage to fulfil all of them for good value of property, location and budged. Our agent was Martin from Foxton Wimbledon. He was very understanding of what we were looking for. He had many options to offer based on what we asked. Always kept in touch and making sure everything goes smoothly. I highly recommend him. If your looking into properties I recommend you ask for him. Thank you!!
