Mr Mathew Miller came to the property spent two hours talking things through.. His advise was factual and professional.. it was in My favour as the vendor as opposed to quick sale lowering price for a quick sale in the estate agents favour. Mr Miller was diplomatic in guiding me to the right price for the current market. For those who care to listen ..he knows his stuff!!!! The team at Okehampton sadly …I couldn’t find a word better than excellent so that will have to do. They always made time to contact me at their earliest opportunity . ..If they were out. No question or comments were ignored always just right in their communication skills. An absolute delight to work with such nice , diligent professionals. But Luna the chocolate brown spaniel X helped to confirm my choice ????. As they show you which are the best humans to work with. My best wishes to the team and with lots of gratitude for all that they did to ensure a stress free and professional service. WM

After deciding to sell our equestrian property in 2023 we had three agents do a market appraisal, and we placed our trust in D. R. Kivell Country Property. We had an initial influx of viewings and Geoff and the team kept us up to date with the proceedings throughout, we sold and moved to our new property spring 2024, and would not hesitate to recommend this country property estate agent, great service throughout. Gail, who was our main contact, has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process and always took the time to update us, even when the news wasn’t so positive. She and the rest of the Colwills team are professional and friendly and make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. If we need an Estate Agent in the future it will 100% be Colwills.

25th Jan 2024 (15 weeks ago)Mark Kivell and his team, were brilliant from the beginning to the end whilst dealing with the sale of our Orchard and business. The initial valuation was very professional, yet friendly, and the fact that he had previously sold an Orchard a few years ago, to the fantastic drone footage, and feedback from him as well as his wonderful team. Even in these financially hard times, they achieved an above asking price offer, which proceeded very smoothly to the end. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, all.

Tina put me at ease as soon as I met her and Elisha’s attention to detail in photos were amazing. The whole team was so supportive. My house sold within days and they kept me well informed through the whole process. On the day I moved out they even brought me a ring doorbell tool because I had packed mine. If you are thinking of selling your house you can trust swift :)
12th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)Admittedly it’s been 18 months since I dealt with Carl at Sbc ,he has a lazy attitude not interested happy to charge me £600 for an advert and rubbish online photos and then pretty much did nothing to try and sell my business I did all the work and still never sold it or got a result waste of money waste of time , like I said it’s been 18 months but I feel I’m still entitled to leave a review. I would never ever recommend them ever to any Buisness , at that time I had an apology email from Carl but I’m sorry it wasn’t enough, my Buisness went stagment online and I lost a fortune , £600 down the drain , take your money then they run .

19th Nov 2023 (24 weeks ago)I recently had the displeasure of having Phillip Ellis manage my two properties, I'm compelled to share my profoundly unsatisfactory experience. Having initially connected with a staff member at a networking event, the reality of working with this company fell far short of expectations. The litany of unprofessionalism began with the inexcusable allowance of early tenant access to one property, a blatant violation of the contract terms. In the other property, a shocking lack of property inspections persisted for an entire year, leaving my investment at the mercy of neglect. Critical paperwork was not only mishandled but also lost, contributing to a pervasive lack of communication from this company. Despite my persistent efforts to address these issues, there was no acknowledgment of fault or a hint of an apology. To say that Phillip Ellis fell short of their promises would be an understatement. The level of unprofessionalism exhibited throughout my dealings with them has been beyond poor. I cannot emphasise enough the sheer frustration and disappointment this company has caused. In conclusion, my encounter with Phillip Ellis stands out as one of the worst business experiences. Their complete lack of accountability, awful communication, and unfulfilled promises make them a company to avoid at all costs. Spare yourself the headache and explore alternative options for your property management needs

Everything was managed and all the paperwork was carried out very quickly as well. I love the apartment I moved in, Thank you very much for all your support and effort. We are enjoying our new residence.

I wanted to schedule a viewing for the week but only one person was able to show the house who wasn't available at the time we requested. I've made 3 attempts to now contact this individual and they have still not replied or returned my phonecall. Disgusting service. Renting property shouldn't be this hard.
