29th Apr 2024 (21 days ago)We recently sold our property with Parkers and we cannot recommend them enough. All their staff go above and beyond to help with any questions or concerns. Gavin offered us very good advice at the time of valuation and how to approach a challenging market. His professionalism and knowledge of the local market were incredible and we felt at complete ease going with Parkers because of it. Once the house was on the market we had the pleasure of dealing with Georgi and Jordan. The early viewings and feedback were handled fantastically by Georgi with great communication and honest feedback. The past few months most my dealings have been with Jordan who has gone so far above and beyond for us that we cannot thank him enough. We had some difficulties with an onward purchase and were very stressed at the time. Jordan went out of his way to help us through this, even messaging us well out of his hours of operation with updates and advice. An incredibly considerate and lovely person, he is an asset to parkers. Having dealt with a number of other agents in Norfolk (where we are moving too) it was so stark to me how much Parkers stands head and shoulders above anyone else. We faced multiple challenges when trying to find & secure an onward property but they handled our sale amazingly. They were realistic but positive throughout which kept us going when I would have otherwise have given up. 9th Jul 2023 (10 mo. ago)Would not recommend this estate agents. I had to chase them for feedback every time (however, only had 7 viewings in 4 months!) didn’t hear from them at all for 7 weeks! NO communication at all!! Arranged viewings with totally unsuitable prospective buyers (e.g. a lady with an electric car who wanted to install an electric hook up when there is no driveway-on street parking). Felt forgotten about as the office wasn’t in our town. Worse than disappointing.

The depth of James Cridland's experience and knowledge is rare and exceptional and we felt in the safest of hands throughout. His maxim that there is always a solution meant that he navigated every obstacle that presented itself with great intelligence and care. He sees the whole picture and can and will talk with the utmost skill and diplomacy to any party involved to help facilitate the process. We have been amazed at the lengths he and his team have gone to on our behalf and we think we would have fallen at many posts without this level of unremitting dedication. All this with great kindness, humour, consistent communication and a cheerful "worry not" at the most stressful moments. Being so well established, Cridland & Co. also have wonderful local contacts, including removals companies and are happy to share these to help make life easier. The spot-on pricing and marketing of our house resulted in genuine viewings and offers, all handled with enormous skill and in such a way that created the least disruption for us. Incredibly professional, always reachable, supportive and understanding throughout the process. In addition we made a tidy profit on both houses. From the very beginning, through exchange and past completion Savills was always there and supportive. I would like to mention Nicky Quentel and Huw Warren who are absolutely outstanding. 4th May 2024 (16 days ago)Mark David ‘MD’ do not follow The Property Ombudsman Code ‘TPO.’ I terminated MD. When I later exchanged contracts, MD invoiced in full. Successful agent said MD not entitled to Dual Fees given no Effective Introduction, which MD accept. So I queried the invoice. 35 minutes later, and not addressing the TPO points, MD threatened court. Despite MD being in breach of contract, the court found for them under an Agency Terms tail. Learnings: i. TPO must take precedence in the contract; ii. MD are highly litigious

From the very start of our sale process, it was clear that Martyn and the whole team at Breckon & Breckon are dedicated professionals, all of whom are extremely experienced, competent, easy to work with and reliable. Martyn's regular communication and guidance was impeccable, and when we ran into challenges, he was always on board to support us and demonstrate flexibility and true service. Their network of buyers meant we received consistent, viable queries and we agreed to a sale on our property within 2 months, certainly an indication of Martyn and the team's commitment to their clients' needs. We cannot recommend Breckon & Breckon Woodstock more for all sale, purchase and lettings processes.
