17th Apr 2026 (6 days ago)We've been Elisson's tenants for 5 years, and we are absolutely happy with the smooth and fair relationship we've been having with the Landlord and this amazing state agency. Since the first contact, when we received a respectful and understanding treatment from the Letting Manager, Laura, through the total support received from them for the rapport with the referencing company, to our entire tenancy period, during which we`ve had professional and fast assistance from the property management department. Our relationship with the Landlord couldn`t be fairer or smoother, and I`m sure that the skilled management of the demands by Ellison was essential for that. After knowing how state agencies can be disloyal and disrespectful to prospective tenants, I absolutely recommend Ellisons as a loyal and professional state agency that I hope will continue to be the intermediary for our rentals, hopefully our first property acquisition.
7th Nov 2025 (24 weeks ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.

Mariam has been so incredible my parents sadly had water leak at residential property I need to find them alternative accommodation Mariam has stayed in touch until she found them the perfect place to rent. She kept me up to date from start to finish making this such a smooth process for my parents at such a difficult time and she is so polite and professional absolute asset to the company and I work for Lloyds banking group so recognition is so important when you have been given attention and service like this I would recommend Mariam and Charles Henry Peppiatt for helping find the ideal place but without Mariam being so efficient this would have not been so easy. I will definitely give her details to anyone I know looking for property.

My latest transaction was the sale of a house on the Southfields “grid” undertaken by Alex at Hamptons in Earlsfield who provided a very smooth, professional, courteous and personable service throughout, finding appropriate buyers, holding together the transaction. Alex was always available and communicative and a credit to Hamptons.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He kept a cool head during some very tense moments and handled everything with calm professionalism, which made a real difference. They were so professional, and managed to get the property under offer on day one of viewings, after it had been sat on the market for 6 months prior without any viewings. The whole process was seamless and I highly recommend over larger firms

29th Mar 2026 (25 days ago)I would strongly advise to steer well clear of anything related to Foxtons (which I myself will be doing). We were looking to rent a property and found the ideal place which was being marketed by Foxtons. Foxtons operate on the basis of terrible communication and lots of pressure and frankly total unprofessionalism. We were contacted at 1pm on a Weds and told there were two offers on the table, both so similar that the landlord couldn't decide. So to decide, the best thing Foxtons could think of was to send both offerors the tenancy agreement at 3pm and whoever signed it and paid the deposit first would get the property. No chance to review the tenancy agreement first of course (despite it resulting in an obligation to pay several thousand pounds a month in rent). I suggested the obvious solution would be to do one final round of offers to see if either party could improve but was told this wasn't possible as we'd already done "best and finals" - news to me, as I'd so far made a first offer. I even made a higher offer there and then on the phone to secure the property but was told this wasn't possible. In the end, the other offeror signed and paid within 9mins (good luck to them) and I missed out but felt a huge sense of relief and with hindsight am very glad. Totally unprofessional to operate in such a way and to leave easy money on the table. Other landlords should take note.- 18th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Our experience has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable, particularly with Zak. He was very responsive until we signed the contract and made the payment, but afterwards all of our calls, messages, and emails were ignored for weeks, even for simple matters. I would strongly advise against using them; their service is the worst I have ever experienced.
