19th May 2026 (5 days ago)Very disappointing experience overall. Throughout the transaction, communication from both the agent and seller was inconsistent, contradictory and, at times, highly misleading. We were repeatedly given different explanations regarding occupancy of the property, which directly affected access arrangements and delayed inspections. Concerns raised by us as buyers were consistently minimised, while information favourable to the seller was pushed very aggressively. We were encouraged to rely on existing certificates despite them being close to expiry, and only because we insisted on independent inspections were serious C2 electrical safety issues identified. As first-time buyers, the overall impression was that key information was being selectively presented in a way that protected the seller’s position rather than allowing buyers to make fully informed decisions. We ultimately had to independently verify important aspects of the transaction ourselves instead of being able to rely on representations made during the process. Future buyers should approach very carefully, verify everything independently, and maintain a healthy degree of scepticism throughout.
7th Nov 2025 (6 mo. ago)After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made. They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken. Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional. We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

Throughout those years, Jade has always been very patient with our queries and always speedy and productive with answers. She was also extremely helpful when our first tenancy ended unexpectedly when our Landlord wanted to sell. She found us a flat in the building next door and we got to move without any fuss at all. Saving what could have been a very stressful event. Very much appreciated all her help.

Moving house can be stressful, but they made the whole process smooth, organised, and much easier for us. He was proactive and very well prepared. I would highly recommend him.! I would absolutely recommend Moveli, over using one of the big impersonal high street chains
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

From start to finish, their professionalism and communication really stood out. The check-out process was clearly explained well in advance, which made preparing for the move much less stressful. They provided a helpful checklist and were always available to answer any questions I had, responding promptly and politely every time. On the day of the inspection, everything was handled fairly and transparently. The agent was punctual, respectful, and took the time to walk through the property with me, ensuring I understood any points being noted. There were no surprises, and I felt the whole process was conducted with honesty and integrity. I was especially impressed with how quickly my deposit was processed and returned. Any minor deductions were clearly justified, and the breakdown was easy to understand. Overall, it was a smooth and reassuring experience during what can often be a stressful time.
