22nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)We received excellent care and support from Bradley, Dominika and Billy at Philip Alexander, while purchasing a property on behalf of our father. They were flexible with viewing times, considerate of our father’s needs (he’s in his 80s), and always honest and clear with their guidance. The range of different properties was also impressive, especially as keeping within budget was an important factor. We especially appreciated that there was never any pressure to buy - no pushy sales tactics - just a straightforward, professional service. They also responded promptly to our solicitor’s queries, which helped the process run smoothly. We would happily use them again and highly recommend them.

Her expertise in the local market was evident from our first meeting, and she provided a clear, strategic plan for selling our home. Louisa was incredibly communicative, providing updates after every viewing and following up with detailed feedback. Then there was Pio. Oh, what a joy to work with. He was very efficient, super quick to update the PropertyFile App & he has a wonderful sense of humor. I felt fully supported and informed throughout the entire process. If you want dedicated professionals, who genuinely care & gets results, I would highly recommend Louisa & Pio.

Throughout the sale, communication from the buyer’s solicitor was extremely poor, and progress often felt at risk, but Tanya was the glue that held everything together. She consistently chased down all parties, kept the process moving across every area, and ensured nothing drifted. Tanya's communication was excellent — she kept me regularly updated, explained delays clearly, and was always proactive in finding solutions rather than excuses. Her professionalism, persistence, and genuine commitment meant I always felt supported and informed, even when matters were outside her control. Thanks to Tanya's dedication and outstanding customer care, the process progressed when it easily could have stalled. She truly went above and beyond, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Thanks again, Tanya! You Legend!
10th May 2026 (14 days ago)Have just bought my first London shared ownership flat, sold by Hunters. My experience as a buyer was nothing but positive from start to finish. We were shown the property by Steve, who was calm, knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome, as well as keeping me up to date on the offer. Saphire was then our main agent and was absolutely brilliant - great at communications and sped the process along with solicitors and I felt very informed and supported in the process. Thank you Saphire! Then since, the Stoke Newington office staff, notably Matteo, have been very friendly and helpful post completion. Seems to be a team of people who are good at what they do and look after their clients :)

The whole team have been great at picking up the phone, and I'm really grateful especially to Ben, for really pushing to help us get a viewing, and Kenneth for making sure we were always kept to date throughout the bidding process. 18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
