21st Jan 2022 (2 years ago)The most rubish estate agent i have ever seen. They only work for comission from landotds, they don’t care about tenants. All tenants just be careful. At first they look ok but this is only fake protend.
14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
2nd Sep 2024 (19 days ago)Chris was fantastic in the whole house selling process! Got things done quickly, always kept us up to date and was very good at helping us with any questions we had! Would 100% use PC again and recommend to anyone in the area!

22nd Jul 2024 (9 weeks ago)I have been with jewel homes for over ten years they looked after letting my property whilst I was living in Malaysia and keep a close eye on things for me and always kept me up to date with everything going on. my house was continious let the full time I was away, due to the excellant service i had received when it came to selling my house I did not hesitate to use then for and as expected everything went smoothly and they also recommended me to a lawyer which was a bonus as I am still living in Malaysia.

25th Apr 2019 (5 years ago)Went in to enquire about the area as a potential place to move to and the staff were about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Every question was met with an unhelpful response. Got the feeling she didn't want us to move there or she was incompetent at her job. Won't be back any time soon!!

Reassuring and positive. Information given is clear, instructive and they have answered any questions that arose. Highly recommend and very grateful to all the staff along the way.
3rd Nov 2023 (10 mo. ago)(While the company did finally provide compensation, it's important to note that I still experienced a significant opportunity cost as a result of their actions.) It has undeniably been the most regrettable experience of my lifetime, dealing with a solicitor team that exhibited a severe lack of professionalism and courtesy. Initially, I placed my trust in them based on their positive Google reviews, which now appear to be misleading and have led to significant frustration and inconvenience on my part. The solicitor in question was Shari, who astonishingly took a full year to complete the anti-money laundering check, despite my having submitted all required documents promptly. To compound matters, she repeatedly requested the same information, leading to redundant submissions. Regrettably, she ceased all communication, failing to respond to both my emails and those from the seller's side. My attempts to reach her went unanswered for two months until she seemingly disappeared without a trace. I was dismayed to find myself in such a predicament. In desperation, I enlisted the assistance of the estate agent, who contacted Joni, the National Head of Conveyancing. However, this interaction proved to be equally disheartening, as Joni not only displayed a lack of professionalism but also declined to provide any insight into the unilateral breach of contract, responding in a profane manner. I strongly advise against engaging with this company. As a result of their inefficiency, my funds remained in limbo within my bank account, as I had initially believed they could promptly resolve their business matters. Consequently, I have incurred substantial financial losses due to the failure of Simpson & Marwick to deliver on their commitments.

We had used Neilsons in the past, and found them to be excellent, so got in touch with Claire Scott this time. Her advice and service has been excellent throughout, as we navigated a challenging process where we had to withdraw from a purchase due to an undisclosed major outstanding works, and look for another property instead, to really tight timescales. Claire was calm, extremely efficient and helpful throughout, with great advice around offers, and negotiating terms. She helped us through some tricky obstacles along the way, and we couldn’t recommend her or Neilsons highly enough.

He is such a nice young man and very conscientious, delivering first class service for both seller and buyer. Very personable and easy to deal with, throughout the whole process of selling Jack applied attention to detail, listened intently, and did a sterling job with the marketing materials. One felt he was on the journey with you and really believed in your home, offering careful advice and assistance in how to make it look at its best. The house sold quickly and easily. Jack is the sort of person one can easily trust to be in the house and to take care of viewings without needing to be there. He really does his homework. Where Paul Rolfe estate agents came into their own was in the negotiations to sell. They have a finely honed gentle approach that works wonders, and makes sure everyone’s needs are met. All of the staff are a pleasure to deal with. Big thanks to them all.

The mortgage adviser, Craig, made the process stress free and simple for us, and the process was signed and sealed in a matter of days from our offer being accepted. I would highly recommend Craig and Regents Estates and Mortgages.
23rd Aug 2024 (29 days ago)Our journey with Avenue Road began back in 2023 with a competitive valuation from Jennifer. We went to market and had a number of viewings lined up, all expertly handled by Jennifer who was in constant contact and proactively gave us feedback from viewers. Within 6 weeks we had a VERY reasonable offer on the table and were excited to move. When an unexpected turn of events meant we had to withdraw from the sale whilst we were abroad, Jennifer handled everything for us. One phone call and all parties were informed and our listing mothballed until such a time as we were ready to go back to market. Truly, I have no words to describe how easy she made this really difficult time for us. When we were ready to return to market some 6 months later, Jennifer had everything ready to go and in 24 hours we had a weekend of viewings booked in. In a matter of days we were under offer again. From the offer acceptance right the way through to completion, Jennifer was there for us and provided a truly seamless service liaising with lawyers on both sides of the sale and assisting us with the handover of keys on completion day when we were unable to be there ourselves. Be in no doubt, if you instruct Avenue Road you will be working with the best in the business! Their market knowledge and communication are second to none.

Charlotte and Jack were great but Amy stood out with her drive and enthusiasm and got us a fantastic offer on our property. From Mike and I, thank you so so much.
5th Jul 2024 (11 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
